That's it... I suppose... Solara thought to herself while inspecting her outfit from the mirror to make sure it was all, as it was supposed to be. Her hair was tied on a low bun where her head met the back of her neck, her make-up was modest, because quite frankly she disliked feeling as if paint had been splashed all over her face, and her accessories complimented her dress. The most prominent of which was the piece of jewellery decorating her left hand. It began from her wrist, as if an ornate bracelet and continued with thin chains to her fingers, covering them with the same intricate details, much like a gauntlet. Her fingertips were hidden under extensions of the golden material, making her nails appear long, almost as if claws.
Faint mana emanated from the gauntlet-like piece of jewellery, but it was known to her, so she didn't pay attention to it. Instead, she wondered where she might find the hosts, namely Fuego. Not that she had a real reason to find him, not an official one at least; just the sense of longing that always lingered around, hiding in the corners of the room whenever he wasn't there.
A smile tugged her lips up as she thought about him; about his smile, his eyes, his gentle presence. And the strings of fate around her heart, they pulsated with the golden, glittering glow, as if they were living beings of their own.
I just want to see him... She thought, deeming no other reason that she really needed to venture out of her room and begin searching for him. Though she had a few educated guesses on where she might find him.
She made her way down the hallway, towards the most often used common room of the Vermillion Castle, from where the prominent mana, and yells, seemed to originate from. Or rather, as she ventured closer, was sure that the yells originated from.
"THIS IS JUST LIKE WHEN WE WERE-"
"OH QUIT BRINGING THAT UP! WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? CRY ABOUT IT?"
Solara chuckled to herself slightly. Sounds like a pointless sibling scuffle... Oh I've had my fair share of those with Lena. Though... ours were ... not quite this loud. But... each to their own, I suppose.
As she was about to enter into the room, she noticed a figure near the doorway, dressed in a dark green ballgown. Detailing, of a few shades darker in shade than the rest of the gown, ran over it as if vines and leaves. But the focus, despite the intricate designs, weren't on the dress, but instead framed the face of the person wearing it; Tani.
The brunette turned towards her, lifting her hand into an awkward wave.
"Hey," Solara greeted with a smile, making Tani pause for a moment, perhaps as if to assess how she should greet back.
"Hey," she greeted back, opting for the less formal approach.
"How are you?"
"I'm... good," Tani replied with hesitance as they stood side by side, her gaze shifting to the two siblings going at each other.
"Wonderful to hear," Lara smiled.
"M-mmm," Tani hummed, unable to keep her gaze from wondering to the two Vermillions. "Should we-, should we do something about this?" She gestured towards the argument.
"Hmmm..." she hummed, turning her attention towards the argument, which seemed to have only escalated during the brief moment. "They're grown people, I'm sure they'll reach... a conclusion... eventually. Besides, I'm interested to see where this is going."
"YOU BRAT!"
"SHIRKER!"
"Aaand we have sunk to name-calling. Perhaps you're right," Solara concluded.
"How do you propose that we do so?" Tani inquired, seeming uninterested in stepping between the two, which, in all honesty, was sensible.
Solara sighed to herself, still keeping her eyes on the two lions, going at each other. "[Gravity of the Sun.]" The words flowed from her, just as they had the last time, she had walked in on them fighting. And just as before, her mana collected in the air, grounding the two red-heads in place, making their eyes turn towards her.
