Let's start with a few simple introductions, I'm Katherine Young and well let's just say I'm a little out of the ordinary.
It all started last year on my 16th birthday, I was just heading to my friend Ashley's house, for my "surprise" party which kelsey told me about the week before. I had sworn to act surprised and too be honest I was actually kinda looking forward too it, that doesn't mean I love parties or anything, in fact it's the complete opposite but something about this one made me feel almost happy as if I knew what was about to happen. I had even decided to dress up for the occasion, instead of my usual black jeans, black band tee-shirt and my black converse I had on a long floor length black dress and some unworn shiny black heels that I managed to dig out from the back of my closet. So I was heading over the bridge when out of nowhere a black blur zoomed out in front of me and in utter confusion and panic I swerved round as fast as i possibly could. the last thing I remembered was smashing in too a tree at full force, the strong impact knocking me out immediately.
Next thing I know my car somehow ended up going over the edge of the bridge, and somehow I wasn't dead, I could breath perfectly fine under the water, the only problem was that I couldn't unlock the car. I was banging on the window for what felt like half an hour screaming for someone to let me out, through the front bonnet I could see a man watching me from the bridge he clearly knew I was down here but decided against doing anything to help, for all he knew I couldn't breath down here. I looked back up to try and get his attention but he had disappeared. I swore I recognised him but from where I didn't know, he was dressed completely in black and looked very old fashioned, like he should have been born thousands of years ago. their was something strange about this mystery guy like their was something compelling me towards him as if he wanted me to follow except I couldn't, or could I, I had totally forgotten about the windows which I managed to get open and squeeze through.
Upon reaching the land I went out looking for him, some part of me seemed to think I should head to the graveyard so I walked, and that walk soon became a sprint except it was faster than a sprint, faster than I thought I could ever travel, faster than I thought anyone or even anything could travel. when I reached the graveyard I found him but he wasn't alone.
