December 24th...

Fuck sake i groan as i stand up as i hear someone knock on the front door.

Oh yeah after that day i sleep on the couch in the living room.

It has been pretty awkward if i am being honest.

No body really acknowledges my presence.

I am just ignored by everyone.

I have been planning an escape plan how i am gonna run away on the 26th.

I've got some clothes thank god but just a few bits and bobs from Cami.

She's the only one that really acknowledges me.

As i open the door i see Cami standing there with a smile.

"Val! hi baby, how are you?" Cami questions me as she gives me a bear hug.

Fuck i really needed that.

After a few seconds of just hugging her tightly not wanting to let go she speaks up again.

"Are you alright?" She whispers to me.

As i pull away instantly i clear my throat.

"Yeah i am fine. I just didn't realise how much i needed that hug..." I say as i walk to the couch as she follows.

"So how have you been?" She asks me.

"I've been alright." I reply

"Camilla!" I hear Caesar shout cami.

"I will be right back." She tells me as i give a quick nod.

I miss my normal life...

Fuck sake i missed Peggy's fucking birthday.

I hate this life.

As i hear a familiar voice i feel a small smile spear on my face.

Mateo.

"Hi Val!" He greets me as he sits next to me and puts his arm around me and hugs me.

I love him like the little brother i never had.

I found out mateo is 17 turning 18 soon.

I've learned stuff about him and he's learned stuff about me.

He still doesn't know my real name or that i was born into the mafia i dont 100% trust him yet but i hope i can.

"Mateo! my love, how are you?" I ask him as a huge grin appears on his face.

We both have the same birth mark on our left cheek which is pretty cool.

"I am good." He replies before we hear Caesar shout his name also.
