Ahhh we're here! We all file out of the van and pay for the go carts. We each paid for our own so that there was no arguing. Once we got to the carts we each chose ours. I chose pink, Nick chose red, Matt took green, and Chris had blue. The man counted us off and we went. I raced around the track as fast as possible. I was in first until Chris passed me laughing hysterically. Hm figures. But anyway, I drove up the spiral track and made my way back into first, while mocking Chris by laughing the same way he did, looking back.
The race was over and I won first. Before the race we made a bet. I bet that I would win and Chris bet that he would win. The loser had to pay for the others soda for life.
"Looks like you owe me free soda for life!" "Whatever, you got lucky!" Chris complained while walking over to the vending machine full of soda. "Hey get me one while you're at it!" I laughed. Then, I saw a super cute spot to take some pics for Instagram. I walked over and had Nick come with me. He took my phone and started taking a bunch of pictures of me. Nick held my phone and began editing the lighting in the pics. It was day and light but it looked cooler dark so he changed it to look like it was dark out.

Ever since I became friends with the boys more and more people began to follow me. Not a ton just a decent amount.
After Nick posted on my Instagram for me I stayed there and replied to some of the comments, like Nora's. I choose to ignore the ship comments because they drive me insane some days. Not saying I don't agree.... Just kidding, well kinda. Anyway... While Nick was talking to the other boys and I was responding to comments a guy came up to me. He was tall and had blond fluffy hair. He was pretty cute not gonna lie. "Hey I uhm don't really know you but you're super pretty and I was just wondering if I could get your number..." "Oh! uh sorry I dont give that out but I can give you my snap!" I responded. "Sure that works!" "Ok it's y/n.is..cooler.2016" "Thanks!" He said. He walked off and I went back to the boys. "Who was that?" Matt asked defensively. "Uh just some random guy who wanted my snap, why?" I asked. "He looks like a dick..." Matt whispered under his breath. "Don't say that! You don't know him and neither do I, so we have no room to judge." I corrected him "Whatever." Matt had his head hung low as we walked back to the car.
It had been about 3 weeks since that day. I was still living with the boys with no word from my mom. I went by my house about 2 weeks ago and grabbed all of my stuff and moved out completely. Bed and all. But my mom wasn't there when it happened because I planned it to where she was at work as we moved stuff. Technically I can't live by myself for another month but the boys can since they are 18 and so it counts enough for me.
I found out that the boy's name from the track was Jake and he was great. A bit off at points but no one is perfect. We had been talking ever since we went carting and we even went on a few dates. Matt hated him. Chris didn't mind him but didn't necessarily enjoy him, and Nick well Nick hated him too. But I don't really care because I like him and that's all that matters. Me and Nora started talking to each other every day again and we were just as close as before I moved which made me so happy. I got a snap from Jake around 20 minutes ago telling me he would pick me up at 7:00 to go on another date.
I ran up to my room which was actually the guest room that the boys had just left empty. They told me I could have it since no one else used it. I was told to dress fancy so that's exactly what I did.

I felt like the dress was a bit to short but looking for another one wasn't my biggest worry.
Time skip:
Jake picked me up and we drove to a really nice restaurant. We had some small conversations before the food came but after food arrived Jake switched his tone and started to be very odd. Just awkward and uncomfortable I guess. "Hey so uhm I have a question to ask you.." he began. "Ask away!" I whisper shout. Jake pulled a box out of his pocket and presented it to me. "Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked, opening the black box which held a beautiful silver and diamond necklace. "Of course I will!" He walked around the table and lifted the necklace above my head to fit around my neck. He clasped it on and I felt the wrong way. Or I assume the wrong way. I didn't feel lucky or loved or any of that mushy gushy stuff. I just felt there. I was just there.
Once I arrived home I was immediately bumbarded with questions. "Where did you go dressed like that?!" Asked Chris. "Where you with Jake?" Asked Nick right after Chris. "Did he give you that necklace?" Asked Chris again. "Is he your boyfriend?" Asked Matt. "Uh yes. He is." I answered. By the look on their faces I knew they were disappointed. I didn't want to face the disappointment anymore so I made my way up the stairs and went to bed for the night.
