Rushton sat next to Ariel. He looked at her, he missed her so much over the years he knew she'd be in safe hands with Jae and Spider what he didn't bank on was his cousin falling for Ariel and having feelings for her.

He placed his hand on her face. Turing it so he could look at her. 'I missed you Ariel.'

'I missed you too, I never thought that I would see you again.'

'I'm sorry it's taken so long Ariel, but I had a lot going on things I didn't want to involve you with.'

'I understand Rushton. You have your own life like I have mine and I'm glad you trusted Jae and Spider enough to take care of me, without them I'd be still chained to Cole and his gang. '

'I understand Hunter got you away from them.'

'Him too. Jae got me away from Cole and Hunter made sure I never went back to him.'

He nodded. 'I wasn't too pleased that Jae let you go to Harvey but I knew about the chip you had so I always knew where you were. I knew you were working at the club spider called the night he arrived and informed me you and your friend were working there. I asked him to keep a close eye on you just in case anything bad happened, and it did. At least you both got out before Cole showed his face.'

She smiled. God he loved that smile. He gently brushed her face with his fingers. 'I missed you so much Ariel.' He moved forward. 'I'm so sorry it all had to take this long.'

'It's fine Rushton really.'

'No it's not I should've been there and I wasn't.'

'You are now.'

He looked at her. 'Ariel I have something to tell you. I should've told you before highschool began.'

'Sure what is it?'

'I love you Ariel. I've been in love with you since primary school. I thought being away from you would change the way I felt, but it didn't. I know we were just friends but I couldn't help my feelings towards you. I really love you Ariel.' He said pressing his lips on hers kissing her. She backed away. 'I'm sorry Rushton I can't.'

'You love him don't you?'

'He makes me feel things I've never felt before not even with Cole.'

'I understand.'

'I'm sorry Rushton.'

He pressed his finger in her lips. 'Don't be. He's really lucky to have you.'

'I hope this doesn't change anything between us.'

'Never we'll always be friends. But if you ever change your mind you know where I am.' He smirked.

She punched him playfully. Laughing. he pulled her close, cuddling her. 'I love you Ariel I always will. Spider is one lucky guy to have you.'

'I love you too Rushton.'

He kissed her cheek taking his arms from around her. 'Friends.'

'Forever.'

He smiled walking away. Spider stood at the door, he patted his shoulder. 'You best take care of her or I'll take her away and that's not just a threat it's a promise.'

'I will you have my word.'

Rushton nodded walking away. Spider walked into the room. 'So you made your choice then?'

'I did.'

He smiled walking over to her pulling her close pressing his lips on hers kissing her passionately slipping his tongue in kissing her harder and harder lowering her to the bed continuing to kiss her hungrily.

Cole looked angrily at all of them and Spider held Ariel close to him, Rushton infront of her. Jae by her side. 'Un fucking beleiveable. I fucking trusted you Jae of all people I trusted you. And you deceived me, for what a chick or your fucking brother?'

'I told you, no I wanted you not to bring her into this or there would be consequences.'

'And you!' He said, looking at Spider. 'You were warned to stay the hell away from what is mine? What did you not get? Not to get into her head and screw her.'

He looked angrily at Cole.

'You fucking her aren't you?'

'That's none of your fucking concern Cole.'

'Oh it is, are you fuckng her?'

'What if I am?!'

'I think he's been fuckng her for longer than you realise.'

He sneered at Rushton. 'And you what the fuck have you to do with this apart from the fucking obvious.'

'She's my friend and I'm protecting her from you!'

He laughed. 'Me? What a fucking joke, she needs protecting from you. Does she know who you fucking are? Does she know anything about you? Jae or Spider for that matter? You're all fucked up, your whole family is fucked up.'

'You're the one fucked up Cole, you murdered your own fucking mother and fuck knows how many more people. You need to be in a psychiatric unit not on the fucking streets.'

'I want Ariel now!'

'Not a fucking chance she's staying right here with us bye Cole.'

They said turning around.

'Ariel!'

'Bye Cole.'

We'll I guess you leave me no other choice.'

The shots went off Ariel collapsed everything turning black around her.

She slowly came round to the smell of disinfectant groaning. 'Ariel.'

'Rushton?'

He smiled.

'Where am I?'

'Hospital babe you got shot.'

'Spider? Jay?'

'They're here too, they are okay they came through surgery an hour ago and you were still out.'

'And you?'

'A few scratches.I was lucky.

'Who shot at us?'

'Cole's friends, they're dead.'

'And Cole?'

'I don't know Ariel. I shot him but when the paras came he was gone.'
