Calista's P.O.VI woke up in the morning to Aiden's bed. He chose the sofa. He seems like a true gentleman and I start to feel really grateful for meeting. For entering the pub.
A light knock was heard in the door and Aiden's messy head entered.
"Good morning red head!" He says softly and my heart melts weirdly at his cute nickname of me.
"Good morning.." I say a bit shy.
"I made breakfast and i bought you some clothes to wear. We're going to Aaron today.." he says.
My life took a 360 degree change. All thanks to my first roommate. I still don't know why I trusted him. Maybe I didn't have other choice. Maybe I got tired of living on the streets like an alley cat.
So I dressed up with the clothes he bought me. Blue jeans and a red jumpsuit. When I was ready I went to the kitchen to eat breakfast together.
"Thanks for the clothes.." I said as I sat on the table.
"Your welcome." he says with a bright smile.
"Merry Christmas by the way.." he says with the same smile again.
I never had anyone wish me Merry Christmas, make me breakfast, buy me clothes, invite me for dinner, find me a job...I almost melt inside from all the good things that happened in one night. But it's too good to be true, right?
"Merry Christmas." I said too and the words felt foreign in my mouth.
"How did you sleep?" he asks a bit concerned.
"I should be the one asking you this, but I slept like a bird!" I say embarrassed.
"I'm glad!" he says and flash me another smile. I try to smile back, but i think it seemed fake.
"You know you cook deliciously?" I say excited from all the tastes on our table.
"No, because no one ever tested my cooking besides me.." he says a bit sad.
"Oh..I'm sorry. I like it very much for your information." I say trying to cheer him up.
"Thanks Calista." he says bittersweet.
After a small pause I decided to ask him some personal questions hoping I wouldn't cross any line.
"Aiden, how old are you?" I aks and he looks at me with his honey eyes.
"26. What about you?"
"I'm 23." I reply back almost apathetic.
"Did you study something else or you are a security guy with a degree?" I ask him curious.
"I studied painting. But I saw it wouldn't buy me food, so I went to a private schools of Martial Arts. That's how I work as a bodyguard now. Aaron hired me because we were on the same university." he says proud and with a self pity.
