· Jade POV:

Tomorrow is my mates and my birthday. UGH!

"Jade, since you helped me so much with my class work, I finished this year's work and started on my second-year work. Your help is amazing. I might be able to graduate with you this year. All I have to show up to are my exams. Thanks so much. Oh, yeah, I have a couple of exams tonight so I will have to come to the packhouse later to night. I hope you will be fine without me there with you." Clark tells me as we eat our breakfast.

"I just turned in my second-year work and only have exams for the second-year to do. I also will have to teach a few classes from January to May. I'm confused now to what I want to do. I will have so many degrees and that means so many careers to choose from. I love teaching but who knows what will happen in the future. UGH! I hate being so intelligent. It will be great to have you by my side when I graduate. Clark, I'll be fine at the packhouse without you. I'm not afraid of my mates. Did you get that red suit I ordered for you for my birthday party? Friends must match on one of the friends' birthdays." I tell him.

"Yeah, I got it. You'll be able to see me in it tomorrow. Are you still wanting to play that song when you go down the stairs? You haven't seen your mates since Halloween. They will be shocked when they see you." Clark rumbles off.

"Yeah, I still want to use the song. They have been texting me a lot. I turn down their face time. I hope this time apart gave them time to think about how I truly love them. I hope all their doubts are gone. It hurts really bad in my heart to be like this toward them, Clark." I tell him with a sad face.

"Well, if they can't believe you have only eyes for them then they don't deserve you. As much as I been around you, I can tell how much you love and care about them. You know how I feel about you. I would never push you to do anything sexual with me. Even though I have fallen in love with you Jade I will not come between you and your mates. Being friends with you is better than not having you as my friend. It's better than you hating me and not being able to see you. I will be here for you no matter what as your best friend." Clark says with a grin.

I give him a hug.

"You are a great friend. Now, go get to your classes to get your college work for the second-year. I'll see you later tonight." I tell him pushing him out the door and handing him his backpack.

"Yes, mother." Clark says before closing the door.

I laugh at him. He has been such a great friend to me. I hope everything goes well tomorrow. I really hope my feelings of my mates rejecting me doesn't come true. UGH! So much to think about. I'm surprised my brain hasn't just exploded on me. Thinking of my mates, college work, Clark friendship, them damn Tock girls, UGH! I sit on the couch and watch tv for a bit. When I look at the time it is almost lunch time. My mates didn't have to go to school today. Teacher work day and our birthday is tomorrow. I decide to go to the packhouse to have lunch with my parents. I send them a text saying I'm coming for lunch. When I pull up to the packhouse door I see those Tock girls coming out of the door.

"What are you three doing here?" I ask them.

"We came to apologize to the Alpha and see if we can come to the birthday party tomorrow. Alpha told us we could as long as we stay away from his sons." Star the oldest Tock triplet says to me and walks away with her sisters following.

UGH! Why would Alpha agree to this? I decide to go to my room first to look at what I'm wearing tomorrow. I open my door. Suddenly, I am gagged and blind folded. My wrist is being held tightly. I'm being dragged to my bed. My wrist is tide to the bed post; my pants are pulled off with my underwear, and my ankles are tide to the other bed posts. I feel Jasper get on top of me. He leans forward to whisper in my ears.
