I am pretending to be asleep. Waiting for Clark to leave the dorm so I can go throw up. I hear the door close so I rush to the bathroom and vomit like my stomach was coming up through my mouth. UGH! What is wrong with me? I feel someone start holding my hair back. I look up and Clark is standing there.
"I thought you left." I speak.
"My wolf told me to come back and hide my scent from you. How long have you been throwing up?" Clark asks me.
"About a week. I think it is all the food I been eating lately. You warned me not to eat so much." I tell him.
"You're pregnant." Jasmine tells me.
"What? How? When? Who the father of the pup?" I yell at Jasmine.
"Mother won't let me tell you the answer to these questions. You have to go to the pack doctor to get the answers." Jasmine tells me.
I look up at Clark. What if the pup is not his? Would he reject me? We just marked each other. Why me?
"We need to go to the pack doctors now." I tell Clark.
I go to my closet to get clothes and put them on. I am not waiting any longer. I need answers. What will my parents say? Well, they will be happy. They were asking me when I was going to give them some grand pups. I sit in the passenger seat while Clark drives. It is so quiet. We are both in our own thoughts.
"Whatever the results are, today stays between us, okay? We won't tell my parents, your parents, or Alpha Maddox and Luna Adolphine." I ask Clark.
"If it is something serious babe everyone needs to know." Clark tells me.
"Clark, please, promise me the results stay between us. I'm tired of everyone knowing everything about me. I'm tired of you telling my ex-mate everything that happens in our relationship." I beg him.
"Fine, I promise I won't tell anyone." Clark says and grabs my hand to kiss my fingers.
When we get to the pack hospital a nurse hands me paper work to fill out. I look at the paper. Here we go. I must not lie on these questions. I must write everything. It is a law that any paper work you fill out you can not lie on it. You never want to lie on paper work from a hospital anyways. They could make you do tons of unnecessary test and get your diagnoses wrong.
