It's been weeks since Darsen has been in a coma. In that period Bill Misk got out of prison by snitching on other gangs. A week after work he got the corrupted police force on his side. Then the FBI through Blackmail, bribes, and threats. He even got a man by the name of Max Addams who can use almost anything as a lethal projectile by manipulating the man. Bill wanted to destroy DevilDare's name. So he gave Max a DevilDare outfit but tweaked it.

Bill: How well does it fit Max?
Max: Perfect...
Bill: Good. As you know I need you to tarnish DevilDare's name. So go murder a few innocent people and those who wish to... Get me back in a cell.
Max: Will do...
As Max leaves Bill's penthouse he smirks knowing that DevilDare will be ruined now.
A few days later Darsen slowly woke up. Estella shocked and happy hugged him tightly and kissed him.
Darsen: *Smiling* Hey beautiful.
Estella: Hey handsome.
Darsen: So. What did I miss?
Estella: A lot... You've been out for weeks...
Darsen: Damn...
Estella: Yeah... And Bill Misk is back in the game... He has the FBI and police force on his side...
Darsen: What?...
Estella looked down.
Estella: Y/N and Jaysen alongside Freedom Pals are being hunted down. Coon and Friends went into hiding.
Darsen: *Scoffs* Cowards... How are Y/N and Jaysen though?
Estella: *Sighs* Not good... Y/N is dealing with a psycho known as The Jester... Jaysen's... He's missing...
Darsen: We have to find him...
Estella: Bill is to-
Darsen: Bill can wait... My friend is in danger...
Estella: Maybe so but he'd want you to take down Bill and not worry about him... Plus... Some prick is using your name to commit murders...
Darsen: What?... Fuck...
Darsen gets up a little hazy.
Darsen: I'll need my suit...
Estella: It's destroyed... But I made you this... It's based on your original suit...

Estella: Good.
Darsen smiled before frowning.
Darsen: Time to stop this pretender...
As Darsen tries to find the pretender he took out criminals along the way. He then bumped into someone he didn't want to meet.
Darsen: You!...
Gregory's face:

Gregory: Darsen... So splendid to see you...
Darsen: What are you planning dickhead...
Gregory: Why would I tell you?... And such rude words...
Darsen: Oh I can say a lot worse... But I have better things to do...
Gregory: Like finding my boyfriend?... He had been missing for a while...
Darsen: I'm not concerned about that right now...
Gregory only scoffed.
Darsen: How about you find him...
Darsen walked away as Gregory muttered to himself.
About an hour later Darsen found himself face-to-face with the pretender. He threw a billy club at Darsen and he catches it. Shocked and a little spooked Max just glared at Darsen.
Darsen: Who are you?...
Max: ...I'm DevilDare...
The two ran towards each other as the fight begins.
Darsen punches Max multiple times in the face as Max tried to throw a punch but couldn't land a hit.
Max: Fucking bastard!... *grabs a staple and throws it at Darsen hitting him*
Darsen: Ag!...
Darsen holds his head in slight pain as he looks around to see where the pretender went. Then Max kept throwing things as it hits the walls before hitting Darsen as he grunts in pain a little more.
Darsen: Fucking bitch...
Max runs off as soon as the SWAT arrived on the scene.
SWAT member 9: Come on with you're hand up DevilDare! We have you surrounded.
Darsen: Shit...
As Darsen goes into an open room where the SWAT is he realizes he needs to take them out if he wants to escape.
Darsen: *Sighs* Here goes nothing...
Darsen attacks the SWAT members. Knocking them unconscious Darsen clenches his fists knowing this was Bill's doing.
Darsen: Fucking Bill...
Darsen went back to where Estella was. The members of Freedom Pals and Y/N were there as well.
Y/N: Darsen! You're ok!
Darsen smiled.
Darsen: Yeah. But we have a major problem that I'm sure you're all aware of...
Y/N: Yeah... Bill's back in town...
Mysterion: We have to stop him before things get worse!
Darsen: Leave it to me...
Tupperware: That's suicidal...
Darsen: I know... But Bill's made this more personal than ever... He's framed me for murder... So, please... Stay out of my way...
Everyone stood silent as they all nodded.
Darsen went out to fight more crime as he went to church as he talked with the priest who was his friend.
That friend was Father Maxi. They talked about how Darsen's gonna get himself killed if he went to fight Misk on his own. Darsen then said.
Darsen: I rather die as The Devil than live as Darsen Moulak...
Father Maxi stayed quiet not knowing how to respond.
That day Darsen was questioning if he should kill Misk or not. Misk was very dangerous alive but Darsen didn't want him to destroy who he was. Darsen sighed as he left the church.
