~Iris' POV~

The outing with my parents and Himiko was so much fun, though Uncle Vlad tried his best to ruin it the moment my parents dropped me off at his apartment. I got the lecture to rule all lectures, I tuned out quickly but it lasted for what seemed like ages. When I was finally free from his stupid lecture, I locked myself in my room and dropped onto my bed and played back the day's events in my head. My dreams that night were plagued with Himiko and various horror movie killers.

The next morning I headed to school ungodly early, to avoid my annoying uncle and in hopes that perhaps I'd bump into Himiko. She was usually pretty early to school and after meeting her mother I could understand why. If my mother was half as insufferable as hers, I'd do all I could to avoid having to be near her, including enrolling in as many extra curricular activities as humanly possible.

A strange choked gurgling sound caught my attention as I headed toward my locker, giving me pause. It was too early for any of the faculty to be here, besides maybe an over eager janitor. I held my breath and cast out my senses, activating my quirk to feel around for blood nearby. I felt a pull toward the locker rooms and quietly made my way in that direction.

"Cr-Crazy...bitc-..." The voice was masculine and sounded as if it were fading fast. Judging from the amount of blood I could sense in his body, he was bleeding out.

I peered around the corner and felt my heart stutter in my chest as I spotted Himiko leaning over the jock that had stabbed his pencil into my arm during my first day of track. She had a knife gripped tightly in her hand, there was blood splattered on her shirt, a small splash across her cheek and some blood seeping from her lips as if she had drank from him.

Her wild golden eyes flicked upward as I stepped into the locker room and grew wide, "...Iris..." Her voice sounded so small and meek.

I looked from her to the now unconscious jock. He'd obviously seen her stab him, which was a problem. What exactly did one say in this type of situation? "Good morning, Himiko..."

She tilted her head to the side, an endearing and amusing expression of awe crossing her face. "...good morning..."

"...Not for him..." I indicated the unconscious jerk.

Himiko looked down and seemed to freeze entirely as if she'd just now realized what she'd done.

"Himiko?" I called her name in concern.

"...what did I do?" She stared at his body in horror.

"It's going to be okay, we'll figure something out. Just try to stay calm." I took a step forward and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Don't panic."

As the words left my mouth the door behind me swung open. Two voices raised in laughter suddenly cut off as the door opened fully revealing the disturbing scene. I sighed, witnesses complicated things. Glancing at the door, I spotted two of the three girls who'd approached me at lunch on my first day, the leader and one of her brainless lackeys. They both stared in horror at the scene before them, though surprisingly didn't scream.

"...is he dead?" The lackey asked in terror.

I could detect a faint pulse, "...not yet..."

"Oh god." They squeaked in unison.

"Disgusting." Himiko mumbled softly to herself, her hands trembling, "disgusting...disgusting..." She kept repeating it over and over.

"Himiko?" I tried gently.

"...disgusting..."

"Himiko...what are we doing here exactly?" I asked.

"...disgusting..."

"...look, we won't tell anyone we saw anything..." the lead girl piped up, fearfully.

"...disgusting..." Himiko's voice cracked.

"...y-yeah, we totally didn't see anything..." The lackey stammered.

They both turned to run. I activated my quirk, concentrating on the blood flowing through their veins and bending it to my will, stopping them in their tracks. Things were getting more and more complicated by the second.

"...why can't I be normal?...so disgusting..." Himiko sniffled.

I sighed, my decision was made. "Normal is boring. Himiko, just be you." I cast out my hands towards the girls who'd bullied Himiko and tore the blood from their veins. Using my quirk, I formed a tiny blade of blood inside of them and pulled it through their chests piercing their hearts in an instant.

Himiko stared at the blood I'd commanded, mesmerized. She turned her tear filled golden eyes to me. "You don't think I'm disgusting?" She asked in a small voice.

"Reckless perhaps, but not disgusting." I offered her a small smile. "So...what's the plan?"

She looked around at the mess we'd made. "What are our options?"

"Well, it's still early, we could probably hide the bodies and go about our lives as usual, there will no doubt be an investigation at some point in the near future, we could potentially get away with it but seeing as all three of these assholes were mean to us, I'm going to assume we won't." I noted in a bored tone.

"Next option?"

"Hide the bodies to give us a bit of time and make a run for it." I shrugged.

"Together?" She asked nervously.

"Together." I agreed.

"What will we do?"

I smiled, "whatever we want."

Himiko finally relaxed, as if a great weight had finally been lifted from her. "I like that option."

"Then we should probably take care of the last witness." I indicated the unconscious jock before her.

"Okay!" Himiko giggled and stabbed her knife in his chest.
