Months had gone by since Jc had seen Olivia. He had started college a few weeks ago and met different people including some girls. He had even gone out on a few dates but never went through with any of them, he still had hope that Olivia would return.
On the other hand, Olivia was living her best life at her dream school. Keeping up with her grades and making new friends. At night she would a get a aching feeling, missing him. She had planned to go back to her home town during the Holidays but with her up coming tests it was impossible to do so. She didn't mind spending it away from her family.

"Hey man, you okay?" Asked his Joey sitting down next to Jc as the loud music continued playing. "¿Do you think she's coming back for the holidays?"
"Oh, it's about her." Joey said with a softer tone. It had been two years since Jc had seen Olivia. "Jc, I don't think she's coming back. At all."
"I miss her." He looked down at his drink, it had been two years and still nothing of her. "Come on. Get up, go dance and meet a girl." Joey tried to cheer him up. "I don't want to met other girls, I want her."
"Let's say she does come back. What's if she shows up with a boyfriend, what's going to happen then? Maybe she hasn't come back because she's happier there with someone else."
Joey was tired of seeing one of his best friends like this for over two years. Sometimes those people that you love never come back and all you can do is live awith the memories. "Can we not talk about this please" was the only thing Jc said.
"Hey guys, look who came in town. My cousin Vanessa" Said Justin as he walked over to their table with a girl next to him. "Hi, nice to meet you" she smiled at Jc.
He looked at her, giving her a cheeky smile. She had green eyes with honey blonde hair in layers. She was wearing a pink puffer jacket due to the weather with jeans. He hadn't looked at a girl like that in a long time. "I'm jc and this is Joey" he introduced them "Is it okay If I sit her or is your girlfriend coming?" She asked politely.
"No, the seat is open for you" he laughed. The rest of the night Jc spent it talking and getting to know more about her. Justin would mention her here and there before he had just never seen her in person until now. "¿How long will be staying?" He asked
"I'm not sure, I might move here" she said "You seemed sad as we walked in. Are you okay?"
"Yeah, just missing someone" he chuckled lightly as he gave a sip to his drink "I've been there before. A girlfriend?" She raised her eyebrow at him "no, she was never my girlfriend but I did love that girl"
"I think you still do love her. How come you guys didn't date?" She asked "right after I confessed my love to her she moved out of town for college." He explained "aw man that sucks, has she come to visit?"
"She hasn't..." he sighed once again, it was hard to forget her after so long. "I'm sorry Jc"
"¿So have you seen the town so far?" He changed the subject, last thing he wants to do is talk about the girl he loves to another girl. He would always some how mention her to other girls when he would go out with them. "I haven't, my bags are still in Justin's car."
"Let me show you around, when are you free?"
"I would really appreciate that, how about now?" She smiled at him. He nodded and said his goodbyes to his friends as he walked out the bar with Vanessa.
That night Jc and Vanessa got to know each other. It surprised him to know similar she was to Olivia not by the looks but by their personalities. She had decided to move away from her parents to be independent and to have new experiences. She use to have a boyfriend but broke up after being together for a few years.
