Chapter 4

I woke up in the morning and showered, ate breakfast and did my makeup and hair. I was really excited because I got to hang out with Justin again today, but it won't be so sexy this time. I closed my eyes and felt his lips still on my neck. I opened my eyes and smiled. I was waiting for his text saying when to meet and where to meet before going to the go carting arena in town.

Beep beep beep

"Hello?" I said into the phone with a smile, "Hey still down to go, go karting?" I heard Justin say in whisper, maybe trying to not wake somebody up "Yeah I am, I just need to get changed and I can meet you in a few? I said "What are you wearing today?" I knew he was smirking, I rolled my eyes and smile answering him anyway "Adidas track pants a black tank top and a pair of vans." "Cute, I'll meet you at the arena in 30 minutes." "Okay, sounds good. I'll see you later Justin." I smiled and hung up on him.

I quickly got dressed, wrote a note to my dad, took his keys and took the car driving to the destination we planned. I waited in the car until I saw him pull in 10 minutes after me. I opened the door and got out smiling, "Hey" he said when he got up to me, "What's wrong?" My smile dropped, "I was just at the hospital." He said in a whisper "How is she?" "Not good" he answered. I hugged him and smiled sympathetically, "Let's get down to business now, Madison." He smirked and pointed towards the arena. "Eat my dust, Bieber." Yelled and ran off towards the arena.

"I WIN" I shouted to the sky with my head held high, he finally reached up to me panting, I playfully shoved his arm "like I said, eat my dust." Smirking at his defeated frown I flipped my hair over my shoulder and walked to the front desk of the small office. I noticed that there was a big blue couch with a coffee table sat infront of it, magazines scattered a tossed its surface, a coffee and hot chocolate sat in the corner tucked away from humanity, a framed picture of the words "feel the speed" hung above the couch. I crossed my arms and put them on the counter Justin standing next to me, he clicked a little button and it rang a boy around 18 or 19 ran in, he was quite tall, about 5'9, 5'10 he had brown hair and blue eyes, he looked at me first and smirked and licked his lips, talk about gross. Justin noticed and he put his arm around my waist pulling me closer, he kissed my temple. I looked at the boys face his smirk dropped and I laughed a little which caused him to glare at me. "How can I help you today?" He asked in a monotoned voice, Justin quickly answered saying two gokarts booked for two hours. I smiled and put my head on his shoulder. "that'll be 150$" Justin quickly pulled out his wallet and paid the guy behind the counter. He buzzed the door so it would unlock and we walked into the stadium where all the karts and helmets were.
I ran to a helmet and out it on getting into a blue kart, I put the seatbelt on and turn the ignition on, it roared to life, I turned to my left to see Justin already pulling up beside me in his kart smiling at me "Eat my dust Madison." And he took off before I could say anything, I quickly got out of my trance and caught up to him. We were in a tie for a while but he sped off when he say the finish line, I pulled in seconds after him and I got out of my car. He laughed at my sad face "Get on my level." he yelled cheering and laughing, which caused me to laugh becomes he looked so happy and I was glad he was having a good time, "I let you win" I smiled innocently and walked away, "did not" he protested "but I did" I turned around and looked at him, he looked sad "okay I didn't you won fair and square" "that's what I thought" he replied.

After we put our helmets and the cars back we decided to leave, we were in the parking lot next to our cars, "so what do you want to do now Madison?" I looked at him and smiled "Starbucks" he groaned for what seed like hours until he finally agreed. I hoped in my car saying I'll lead the way, he nodded his head and got in his Range Rover. Pulling into the Starbucks it looked kind of vacant there wasn't much cars like there were the last couple of days. Justin pulled in and parked next to my car. I got out an waited for him to exit his car, he undid his seatbelt and it got stuck on his shirt pulling it up to reveal is tan toned stomach, I I shed when he caught my eye and he just laughed. He got out and put his hand on my lower back guiding me to the entrance, we walked in and the fresh smell of coffee enveloped me in comfort, we got to the cash and I saw that Toby was working. Toby was one of the baristas I had become friends with when I walked in here last week, he was so sweet he stayed with me while he was on break and we kind of just clicked. "Hey mads, would you like your usual order?" He asked grabbing a cup, I blushed putting my hand over my mouth, it was embarrassing that he already knew my order, I didn't realize I've been coming here everyday since I've been back. A chai latte was what I've been ordering. Justin put his arm around my waist again and pulled me in to him again I smiled, "Yes please Toby." "Perfect" he looked at Justin and did a double look "Shut up, you're Justin Bieber." Toby whisper shouted his eyes going wide with amazement, no one knew Justin was back in Canada, the whole world thought he was partying in his Hampton's house with Kendall and Kylie Jenner and other celebs. My eyes went wide with the realization that somehow someone will find out where Justin is and that the Papps will photograph us and I'll be know as the girl he hit with a car, "TOBY" I shouted causing him to come out of his daydream, he wiped some drool that was seeping from his mouth and he blushed, "you can't tell anyone that Justin is here, no one knows okay?" He could tell that I was nervous and be put his hands to his mouth and gasped "of course not mads I won't tell anyone, what kind of friend do you think I am?" "A good one" I replied. he smiled and blushed again. "So" he looked at Justin this time "what can I get you?" Justin shook his head and said nothing, "Okay so it'll be 5.47$ please" I pulled out 10$ and handed it to Toby, he gave me back my change, "I'll bring you your latte when it's ready." I thanked him and went to my usual seat by the window and sat down, Justin sat down in front of me and smiled "He was kind of different." He said and laughed a little, "yeah but he's been the nicest to me since I've gotten back." I watched as Toby came out from the back with a ceramic cup in his hands, he smiled at me as he placed it down in front of me, "be carful it's hot." "Thanks Toby." "No problem now enjoy sweetie." He left and returned to his post in front of the cash. I brought my cup up to my lips and took a small sip, when someone walked in I chocked on my drink, the person turned around and her eyes went wide, shit it was Taylor and she was coming over. I don't have anything against Taylor I feel like she hates me though for ditching her for Kennedy for not answering her calls or answering her texts. "Hi Madison." She said once she reached us, I looked up at her face, she was smiling all this guilt hit me hard in the stomach and I felt like I was about to cry "Hey" I said, "how are you?" She asked me "fine thanks, yourself?" "Good." "look Taylor, I'm so sorry for ditching you and being a horrible friend, I am so so so sorry! Can you ever forgive me?" "I forgave you a long time ago Mads, look I heard about what happened with the accident, I came by once to the house to see if you were okay and your parents told me where you were at." I took another sip of my drink before I spoke "they did?" "Yeah" "so I guess you know I'm not friends with Kennedy anymore either?" "Yeah, are you okay about that you guys were so close," yeah I'm fine, she wasn't who I thought she was you know?" "Yeah I get that." "You know Taylor I would really like to hang out with you sometime soon okay?" "I'd like that, here let me get your number!" She gave me her phone and I put my number in and I gave her mine and she put her number in, she handed me back my phone and I smiled, "it was really nice seeing you, mads." I got up and hugged her "you too." "have fun now you two, she looked at Justin and winked at me which caused me to blush. She walked back to the cash to order her drink and she payed a couple minutes later Toby called out her order and she got it, she thanked him and waved goodbye to me walking out of the Starbucks.

I finished my latte and made small talk with Justin about random stuff, I looked at my phone to see the time at it read 3:00 pm, we decided that it was time to say goodbye for the day, he walked me to my car and said goodbye, he looked me in the eyes and leaned in so his lips were centimetres away from mine, I closed the gap between us and kissed him with passion, he pulled away and he smiled "Goodbye Madison, I call you later." "Bye." I whispered and I watched him get into his car and drive away, I stood there for a couple of minutes, I brought my fingers to my lips and touched them I smiled and got into the car and drove away. I reached home in about 15 minutes, I pulled into the driveway and took the keys out of the ignition, taking off my seatbelt I made my way out. I walked up to the front door and turned the knob letting myself in, I closed the door behind me and took my shoes off. I could hear mom singing a song faint in the kitchen, I walked in and she turn gasping "Madison, how long have you been there for?" She held her right hand up to her heart and took a deep breath, "Not long." I replied and smiled, "When did you get in?" "Just now," "and what were you doing?" "Well I was at Starbucks with Taylor." "Taylor Chase?" I looked at her and she looked shocked, she hasn't heard or said that name in a couple of years, I nodded and shrug my shoulders "Yeah," "oh" I heard her faintly say, "Well I'm going up to my room." i did t wait for a response, I climbed up the set of stairs taking them by two and made it to my door. I twisted the doorknob and pushed it open, I took in my surroundings and noticed a letter on my desk that wasn't there when I left, "Who went into my room?" I shouted downstairs "No one did." I heard my mother reply, I looked at it and nervously opened it.

"Hey Madison, since you won't respond to any of my messages and since you took away my key this was my last way of talking to you, I just wanted to say I'm sorry and I miss you and that I love you xx Kennedy." I cringed so hard, how the hell did this bitch get in my room? I looked towards the balcony to see that the door was opened, she climbed to the second story of my house just to leave this note. I threw the letter out and thought what if she's still here, so I looked in my closet and I bathroom but she wasn't there, I took a deep breath to calm me down *ding* I jumped pulling my phone out on my side pocket of my pants and unlocked the screen I went on recent messages to see who it was, I smiled when I saw Taylor's name at the top.

Taylor: "heyyy ☺️"
Madison: "Hii☺️"
Taylor: "are you busy tomorrow?"
Madison: "Nopeeee"
Taylor: "wanna do something?"
Madison: "aureeeee, like what?"
Madison: "*Sureeeee"
Taylor: "😂😂 idk, like go to the mall or something?"
Madison: "YASSSS 😈"
Taylor: "okay perf, I'll come pick you up at 3?"
Madison: "yes ma'am☺️"

I closed my phone and places it on my bed, I went back downstairs to talk to mom, "Hey" I said sitting beside her on the couch, "what's up?" "Nothing, just made plans with Taylor to go shopping tomorrow." "Sounds fun" "yeah" we kind of just sat there for a couple of minutes in silent, "so daddy told me that you both decided I was to stay here for now, is that true?" she looked at me and paused her tv show, "yes of course Madison, your father and I think that's whats best for you, to be here with us and your sister and where all your friends are." I smiled but then it turned into a frown, "what's wrong?" She asked, "nothing" I replied. "Thank you." I ran up to my room and picked up my phone off the bed *ring ring ring*
"Hello, lake view rehabilitation centre, how may I help you?" The voice on the other end said, "I need to speak to Tatiana Williams please, may I ask who's calling, it's Madison, her roommate." Oh hi Madison, just one moment please, I'll call her down" "thank you," I replied, "Hello? Madison?" It was her, I didn't realized how much I missed her "Tatiana, I need too tell you something important."

Hello, sorry for taking so long to update but here is a update, I actually started this chapter a couple months ago but forgot about it entirely until now, I'll try my best to update quite frequently for all of you beautiful people who like this book and who have kept up with me for the last two years I really appreciate everyone who reads, comments, and voted for my books, love you all.
