*13 year old Jennifer crying at her mother's funeral*

Whimpers, "Why did tou have to die? Why now? Why on my birthday!" Jennifer sobs more and blows her nose loud enough to make herself and others cringe.

"Honey," her dad gently, walking towards her and says. "I know you're sad but we can get through this together!"

I was too young, too innocent to know all those words were lies and lies only.

"D-dad?" I asked him in between whimpering. "You promise you won't break down or let me break down and drown in all of this... blue rimmmed view?"

He looked back at me and into my red puffy eyes, "Never, never will I ever let you or I drown in this blue rimmed view we have now!" He promised but only lieing twice as much. He hugged me tightly embracing me in his strong, comforting arms.

*Time Pass*

Once we got home I ran into my bedroom and slammed the door shut harder then I intended. I cried all night until... what was that? Was... was I smiling and laughing, crying and yelling, cursing and smashing things?!?
Those weren't my feelings, it was like a tornado of feelings all being mushed together inside my heart forcing me to react to and feel them. I could sense the weren't mine but of some other person. My gut told me so but my brain was a turmoil of thoughts and concerning stuff. I wrapped myself up in by hand knitted by my mom blanket and then I started crying harder I was sure my tears could overload a whole salty ocean.

I heard footsteps pressing on the creaking staircase. " Are you okay?" My dad asked in a very concerned tone. I didn't answer, "Jenny," I flinched at the nickname my mom use to call me. " You can tell me how you feel. If-if you want?"

"Dad, please just leave me alone for a while!" I yelled while hysterically laughing, my tone and laughter that came from a psychotic manic- wait no it... it came from me and those stupid feelings that weren't mine!

"Sure, it's fine. Dinner is almost ready, come down and eat whenever you want. But don't fall asleep with your stomach empty." He calmly replied, hiding his hurt feelings but I could sense them from miles. He climbed down the noisy old creaky stairs.

I could feel his hurt, literally, and the thin thread that joined us was slowly getting thinner and thinner breaking apart with each slight pull.

*5 months later*

It was a Thursday to chill with my father and reconnect with him. I was delighted to spend time him but I was scared those other feelings would take over again.

I was back from school and unlocked the front door to enter home. I'd bought pizza on my way. Smiling from ear to ear hiding and smashing down the other feelings I walked in and up the stairs to my room. Startled I screamed in horror. My father was hanging from a rope tied to his neck clogging his breathing airway. She tried carrying him up a little, checked his pulse and even tried untying him but nothing worked. I could sense no feelings in the lifeless body of his.

Shaking I grabbed the phone and called 911,

911: 911, how can we help you?

Jennifer: There is a man hanging on a rope! He's dead, dead, DEAD!!! Help please!

911: Yes! Give me your address and we'll be there as quick as possible!

I gave them the address. But then I  packed up and left. Leaving no trace I  was back from school yet.

*1 week later*
