Prologue

Brutal screams and savage growls collided against the concrete walls of the hidden research centre. Human-like figures jumped on the backs of fleeing scientists and armed soldiers. The facility soon erupted in more noise as the lockdown alarm was activated.

The surviving members raced toward the exits, barely scraping through the doors, that immediately after bonded shut. They sighed in relief as they looked back at the metal that was being pounded. Fear gripped their senses as they looked around, each of the remaining individual supporting a look of pure horror and shock.

They stood at the entrance of the facility, awaiting the arrival of the rescue forces. The area of the location was empty; apart from the fully equipped, massive building and it's employees, there was not a soul in sight.

Soon, several army vehicles and a spacious van arrived. The soldiers quickly dismounted, surrounding the small group.

"Arme, wo ich sie sehen kann!" A soldier shouted, stepping forward.

The group quickly lifted their hands above their head, shaking violently out of fear.

"Ist jemand gebissen?" He asked, and they all shook their heads. He nodded to the other soldiers and they quickly opened the doors of the army van, herding the group inside.

A crackling sound interrupted the soldier from climbing into his vehicle. He looked down at his radio and responded. Obeying the order from his superiors, he quickly instructed his soldiers to blow up the centre.

Most of the soldiers scattered as they arrived at the German Research and Quarantine centre, they were no longer needed. However, a couple remained to overlook the transfer, they watched with their weapons raised as the people wearing the hazmat suits opened the van, unknowingly releasing mankind's end.

Not long after, choas erupted, noone survived.

That day Germany fell and a king was born.
