We were welcomed as heroes and I was set upon by Mango however I couldn't find the Redguard girl from before anywhere in the fort. No one knew where she went, Yang was a little envious yet even she seemed concerned searching for her. Some reported her heading east after chasing down a deer from near the fort.

Later that same evening, most of us sat around the fire while I was in deep thought and Yang on my left. How could she disappear?
Where would she have gone? Is she a spy?
Did she elope with someone else?... What happened to her?

Yang knew what I was thinking about but the look of worry was in her eyes too. Aram might have been a one-time shag but she was still a warrior. According to other warriors of Morvunskar, she was also the only healer and quite a skilled fighter held in high regards by the others.

Yang: She couldn't have gone far. I'm sure we'll find her.

"My main question is why did she go? Kidnapping, spying...?"

Y: We'll find out when we see her. But until then, you need to rest. I promise I won't leave you.
She puts her hand on my shoulder.

"You don't need to promise, I already know you won't." We smile at each other as she slowly removes her hand. Lewis then drops in and sits my other side and just stares into the fire.

L: Well, she's nowhere to be found. Gaius has sent scouts out to search the nearby areas of the holds. One of them days, man. If only I had a bottle of Grey Goose vodka and a big joint...

"There's plenty of other booze... maybe you could try make some one day. It's simply fermented potatoes, innit?"

"Could do. I think I know how to make it... I just hope my babies aren't here. Fuckin' miss them like mad, bro."

"Even if they are here, bro, I'm sure they'll be in good hands. These Nords know when to take a child in. The orphans you see roaming around are old enough to learn how to fend for themselves."

"Yeah... that I can believe. Anyway I'm off to find the boys. Call for me if you need owt."
He gets up and walks off while Yang asks me about his kids. I didn't know much about them so I only touched down on the subject. It would've been less of a burden if they weren't here but they were his kids. He thought the world of them and always tried his best for them no matter what it cost him. I could tell he was crumbling inside over their wellbeing. He missed his kids more than anything.

Uhtred was the same... in some way, everyone was in the same boat. I tried not to let it bother me, I had Mango who was the only one I raised and that was enough for me.

Yang pointed out my hair again, reminding me that it needed cutting as she sat on her legs behind me. I liked the feeling I got when she ran her fingers through my hair, scratched the back of my neck and gently massaged my shoulders before slowly digging her thumbs into the back of my shoulders and jolted them back a little. As she continued I felt a pop in my shoulders - with her strength she was able to crack my cartilage... and it felt great. My head dropped back as I started dozing off and I felt my head nesting in her cleavage while my arms drooped to the ground. Looking up at her, my gaze was met with hers and I couldn't unlock my stare while trying to stay awake. I was like a puppy in her arms and I enjoyed having my chin scratched softly.
"You're just like a little dog I once knew."

I mumbled softly. "Woof..."

She laughed for a moment still having our eyes locked onto each other as her hands gently cupped my head, I could've sworn the gap between us had closed a little, as though she had slowly inched closer. Once again the feelings came to life. Like I was being lifted by an angel and all my problems had disappeared momentarily. I could've fallen asleep if she continued longer than she did however our session was interrupted with a scout returning from Eastmarch and not seeing anything that matched the description of the woman. I asked him to try again and keep searching till morning. He gladly agreed as the clan saw her as a valued member of the group and a capable fighter, he too knew her worth.
