The Party

Prompt: Stranger Things Bathroom Scene

Wednesday's Pov:

Just as I sat down to write my novel as I hear the door knob rattle

Great.

I prepare for the noise that is to follow

"WEDNESDAYYYYYY" My bubbly roommate yells at me.

I try telling her i'm working on my novel and to be quiet through my glance at her but it didn't work.

"there's a party at Yoko's tonight, you coming???" Enid asks while jumping up and down like a puppy.

"I think you already know the answer to that." I say while continuing to type my novel.

"Awwwww" She says as she slinks back to her bed.

Just as she sits on her bed, she pops right back up, wanting to pick an outfit for the party.

She sorts through her closet full of outfits for this occasion about 50 times before complaining she doesn't have anything and running off to a store.

Finally some peace.

*30 minutes later*

Just as I was starting to get in the zone writing my novel, Enid comes strutting in, showing off her new outfit.

"Do you like it??" She asks me, puppy-eyed.

I glanced at her and felt like I was looking at a child's drawing. Disgustingly colorful. "Yes" I mumble.

After doing her makeup, Enid heads out the door, rushing to get to the party.

Enid's Pov:

As I walk in, it's full of unfamiliar faces.

"Great" I mumble to myself as I walk to the punch bowl.

I grab a cup of punch and spot Yoko.

"Yoko!!" I say, waving over to her.

"Enid!" She says, walking over to me.

"Nice party!! Seems like a good attendance!" I say, sparking a conversation.

"Yeah It's-" She gets cut off by Bianca grabbing her and yanking her to the dance floor.

I feel awkward as I scan the dorm, finding an empty couch.

I sit down and sigh, looking down at my cup.

I start sipping the punch as I spot a figure walking toward me.

"Enid?" The person asks me.

"AJAX!!!!" I excitedly get up and hug him.

He hugs me back, desperately trying to not spill his drink on my outfit.

"I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU SINCE LAST SCHOOL YEAR!!" I sorta yell at him while inviting him to sit down with me.

"Yeah it's been crazy!!" He laughs

After a lot of weird tasting punch, we started playing truth or dare.

"Truth" He tells me.

"Hmmmmmm whydo youhave to be so difficult!!!" I whine at him, slurring my words.

He chuckles, waiting for my question.

"Have youever been in lovEEeEeEe" I ask.

"Uh yeah actually" He responded calmly.

I look at him with wide eyes, "WITH WHOOOOOO" I beg him to tell me

"Divina" He admits

"OOOOOOOOOOO" I respond
