I stared at my reflection, disbelief flooding through me. I swore I'd never go back to him-never again. Yet here I am, right where I said I'd never be.
I should've left that life behind, but it keeps dragging me under...

Destiny sighed heavily as she plopped down unto the plush pink couch in her living room. After a long day at work all she wanted to do was take a nice hot shower and dig her teeth into the Hawaiian pizza she brought home.
She pulled her phone from her purse and began checking her notifications but was distracted by an extremely loud knock on her apartment door. All of that was abit weird to begin with because she lived in a gated apartment complex.
She reluctantly got up to see who was there,
as she approached the door it opened from the outside revealing an unfamiliar man accompanied by a group of men in black suits.
"What the hell are you doing in my house, who are you?!" She yelled, saying she was scared would be an understatement.
The only thing in her mind at that point was to grab some type of weapon to defend herself.
"I must say, Khalil has impeccable taste in women." Stefano commented as he walked fully into Destiny's apartment. By his accent she could tell he was probably Italian but she wasn't sure because his accent wasn't deep.
However she confirmed her thoughts when she heard the one other man behind him talking faintly into his earpiece; he was speaking full Italian.
After being with Khalil for so long there were certain things she learnt and one of them was that, they should never piss off the Italians.
Therefore, Just the mention of khalil's name made her realize what this was. They were either there to get information out of her or they came to kill her and in her mind none of that made any sense because Khalil hardly spoke to her anymore.
She closed that chapter in her life and was focusing solely on herself, that's what made this situation so confusing to her.
"What do you want from me?" Her voice was shakey as she looked up at the tall tattooed man before her.
"Well it's simple as long as you do what I say."
"I don't even know who you are what—" she didn't finish her sentence before Stefano walked up to her and grabbed her by the back of her neck roughly.
