"Girl mi pastor deh here right." I ask Judah as I looked down at my freshly manicured nails nervously.
Judah sighed, placing her hands on her hips as she stared down at me.
"Yes Chinny, pastor Wint is ready and waiting. Just calm down, everything will be fine." I know she's trying to reassure me but I cant help but to feel nervous.
I mean I am excited, but i'm nervous and anxious at the same time because I dont want anything to go wrong.
I wanted my childhood pastor to do the wedding, so I flew him down.
Mi might sound extra, but I am religious and because I'm not getting married in a church, I wanted it to at least be done by a pastor.
And this pastor in particular is one I talk to alot, i've known him since I was a little girl and my mother used to take Romy and I to church with her.
I probably didnt mention it but keemo and I did get marriage counselling from him from time to time, so I thought it would be best for him to marry us.
I didnt really get to see him when he arrived because of all the things we had to do in preparation for the wedding and stuff so thats why I was asking Judah if he's here. Even though I know he is.
Girl a yuh anxiety a talk now,

"Yes Chinny, just relax. As soon as keemo reach a the altar then dem ago start, plus yuh fi mek him wait likkle, Thats tradition." Her statement made me smile,
Thats true, but mi nah guh mek him wait long.
Right now it was just me, Judah and the other bridesmaids in the room. Earlier aunty Tyra did our makeup for us. She can do her thing, she just chooses not to most times because she has toya to do it.
However Toya isnt necessarily close to us like that suh mi neva si the need fi fly har down jus to do our makeup, plus aunty left her incharge of the boutique while she's gone for the week.
