"It's December. I can't believe we're going to be in form three next month." I told my friends Glow and Mariah on our way back home for Christmas holidays, biting on a piece of meat from our shared meal.
"Me too, lol" Said Glow smiling at whatever was on the bus's television.
As soon as I reached home. I got my phone and checked on all my texts on WhatsApp and Instagram.
"Hey, i heard you're dating someone at school. I told you I'd be waiting for you and asked you every time you closed school if you were ready to take me back, you always told me you're not ready for a relationship and for two years Cassy, I waited and i still am.
Text me back ASAP."
This is not exactly what i hoped to find when i got home, but close enough.
"Hi. I'm back"
It took less than 10 seconds for him to reply.
"How are you? I missed you."
"I missed you too.I've been okay." I smiled while i pressed the send button on my phone.
"So, what's going on Cassy? Should I still wait for you , It's miserable hearing about you and your boyfriend from people."
Was this really the end of this? He waited for me for two years. That was the sweetest thing any guy has ever done for me.
"I was wrong about my feelings. Let's try this one more time."
"I love you so much." Now wasn't this quite early for such words. I was still blushing from them though.I hope i made the right choice.
It was almost the end of the Easter holidays and after two years, I'm finally meeting Oshy today.
My phone rang, it was Dad.
"I'm at the movies with my friends daddy, I promise I'll be home by six thirty." Then i saw Oshy walking towards the movie theater's entrance. I waved for him to see me.
"Okay, take care of yourself."
"I will. Bye dad, i love you." I kept my phone in silent mode and kept it in my bag.
"Hey, wow it's been two years. How have you been? It's so good to see you again. You've grown so much, I thought you would have been taller though." I had to force myself to stop talking so much. I could see him trying to hide his smile, I'm sure he noticed how nervous i was.
"Did you expect me to be the same? Of course, I've grown up. My height wasn't as fair to me though." He held my hand and we went to purchase the tickets and some popcorn. It took a few minutes for us to finally be taking our seats waiting for whatever movie that he had paid to watch to start playing.
In less than an hour i could feel his hand on my hand. Slowly moving his thumb on mine. I know the kind of move that he's trying to pull, I've seen it in multiple movies.
He removed his hand on mine, I felt a soft grip of it again on my thigh, leaving an unfamiliar feeling tangling through my body. He moved his hand on my thigh, gently caressing it and i could feel my skin reacting to his arousing movements.
He moved closer and closer to me until he was a few inches away from my lips, I could feel his slow breaths and i thought if he had sensed my hunger for what his lips could do to mine. But then again, he looks experienced. What if i messed up? This is my first kiss. What if i...
I suddenly felt his firm hands softly on my cheeks pulling me closer to him, he hesitated alittle before placing his lips on mine. He was reading me. That was what he was doing. Just looking at me straight in the eyes like that, he knew exactly how badly i wanted him.
He drifted his fingers across my cheeks and slid them into my hair, guiding me through. The next thing I know the movie was almost over, Shyno and i were on the hallway. He pulled me closer to him giving me one final kiss, his lips found my ears and he murmured into them.
"I'm really glad i got to be your first kiss."
"Me too." We both smiled before heading out of the theatre.
"Dear diary,
It was really fun at the mall today, went to see a movie with my friends and something really exciting happened."
Five days had passed since my kiss with Oshy. There i was on our way back to school with Mariah and Glow in the school bus. We went to a private prestigious school, well known for it's outstanding performances in the Nationals.
" I know you told me not to forget to say bye to you before leaving for school after i did it when the December holidays were over. I'm sorry i did it again. I miss you so much though. Love you,"
"Thank you sis, I'm heading to the canteen right now. Do you need anything that i can buy for you? Since, you'll be late after your extensions are over." I handed her her phone back. It's now two weeks since we opened school, I'm glad i got access of a phone this early. I hope Oshy won't be as mad this time.
"No love, I'm okay thank you for asking. Now hurry up before you get late. You know how the matrons are."
