hi :D long time no see! sorry for the lack of content LMFA STOP IT'S BEEN TWO YEARS THIS IS MORE THAN EMBARRASSING BUT YEAH Okay. I want to get into uploading more so :D and i'm heavily into blue lock at the moment BUT I WILL KEEP TRYING TO UPDATE THE OTHER ONE!!!

football was a sport, a hobby, a lifestyle for michael kaiser. ever since the day he kicked his first ball, shot it into a goal and got scouted for a youth club, he had vowed that it would always be his biggest priority. there was simply nothing else worth his attention or even a fraction of his effort. what more could he have asked for when he claimed the pitch of bastard münchen?

yet that was all before he met you.

quite frankly, if you had met kaiser a few years before his enrolment in the professional football team, nothing would have happened. kaiser never believed in relationships or anything that proposed a danger of disrupting his winning streak, but it took him a while, a fair good while, to understand that you adapted and encouraged his victories. if kaiser thought he was able to do all of this alone, then he was wrong.

"kaiser, let's go outside."

perking one brow up, kaiser posed a quizzical look on his face. "why? what for?"

"what do you mean 'what for', let's go outside and play football!" you said, the corner of your lips stretching across your face. "you got one week off because of your stupid ankle sprain and since you're going back tomorrow, why not spend a bit of today warming up?"

watching you jump off the sofa, kaiser felt his heart grow warm. though he hated telling you how he felt (regardless, you still knew) he never failed to show you how much you meant to him. he knew that you were only trying to lift his spirits. the injury had irked his mentality and there had been times where he had snapped at you to which he regretted. if playing football with you was what would make you happy, then he was all for it.

though the funny thing was that he didn't actually know you were able to play it.

"fine," he said, standing up. he began cracking his knuckles much to your annoyance. he loved riling you up if that wasn't obvious enough, especially when he wanted to make it known that defeat wasn't an answer. "you better not start crying that i'm cheating because i'm not, and i definitely won't go easy on you just because i have a shit ankle right now."

you snorted, emerging from the shoe cupboard with yours and kaiser's muddy trainers - his personal favourite ones. he wouldn't ever tell you that, but knowing that they were a gift from your own allowance made his pride swell.

but with a shit-eating grin, kaiser pointed at the shoes in your hands. "you wanna play properly? then i need my studs, darling."

"what, scared that you're gonna slip?" you snickered, pressing the trainers against his chest. "don't worry, i'll be there to catch you."

but as you were about to let go and make your way to put your shoes on, kaiser grabbed your wrists, pulling you closer while snatching the trainers away in his other free hand. "i'll be there to catch you, love," he repeated, the grin still stitched onto his face. he stared deeply into your eyes, taking in all the thoughts behind them. "it rained yesterday too, so be careful."

you rolled your eyes but smiled all the same. "hey now, we all know that even if i did crash and die, you'd laugh first then call the hospital second."

kaiser gently pushed you away but not without stealing a soft kiss on your nose. "yeah, you're right."

and how wrong he was. well, not wrong about the idea of wheeling you away in an ambulance, but wrong about your football instinct.

even with an injured ankle, kaiser could have easily dominated a match against the beginners of blue lock. his obnoxious and arrogant personality was vitally on par with his level of competitiveness and it wasn't any different with you either. no matter if you were an amateur or a pro-player, kaiser still festered the mind to defeat you fair and square.

or maybe not. he felt tempted to swing you around in his arms and woo you over without the need of a football.

but perhaps he was too caught up in his thoughts of actually throwing himself over you because the ball had disappeared from his feet. with a matter of seconds, you had already swept past his daydreaming self.

"eyes on the ball, michael," you called out, the string of your hoodie flapping around your face. you felt the presence of his piercing stare on your back. "not on me."

the ball was deft on your feet and kaiser watched you with wide eyes as you passed to yourself, if that was even possible. maybe your ghost or some weird entity that you summoned was reacting to every move, and yes, in kaiser's eyes, it felt like heaven had just opened and shone a spotlight on you.

this was new. this was exciting and it woke him up. who would've thought that star player of bastard münchen was completely smitten over someone other than himself?

"hah," he smirked. "you're making fun of me now, aren't you?"

the 'goal' (or more like the space in between two rusty buckets) was a few metres away from you and with one fierce kick, you were almost there, but of course, a menace of a football player (honestly, your menace) had to slide past and plant a firm foot down in front of you.

you turned your head ever so slightly, but kaiser's nose was practically in your face.

"i take what's mine," he sang with a smug tone. his face was bright with energy and the tips of his fingers just about traced your waist before he swivelled around on his heel. the ball rolled off the curve of his feet and before you knew it, he was sprinting off towards the other side of the garden, tufts of grass flying out from under his shoes.

this was arguably the first time kaiser had attempted to play a small game with you. with his horrendous schedule, there was hardly enough time for the two of you to just sit and chat, so for kaiser to be able to feel the same adrenaline rush in a winning match as he played with you was a gift and wish of its own.

"kaiser!" you laughed, chasing after him like a lion. kaiser felt a mean smirk etch onto his face when you shouted his name. "yellow card!"

"yellow card?" he echoed, reeling his leg back to shoot the ball into the goal. it sliced through the empty gap and smacked into the wooden fence. any harder then the neighbours would have deserved an apology.

he threw a glance over his shoulder, waiting for you to catch up. "love, simply touching someone doesn't give you a yellow card, you know."

"unintentionally, maybe not," you said. you slowed down to a stop and placed a hand on his shoulder. "intentionally."

he hummed and lovingly tapped your chin. "well, yellow card or not, i didn't know you could move like that."

you chuckled and tried swiping his finger away, but kaiser took that chance to hook your hands together. "you know i played football before, right?" to your surprise, kaiser cocked his head to the side and shook his head. "what? yeah, i did! it was around the start of high school!"

"and why didn't you tell me sooner?" he asked. "actually, wait, i have a better idea. join bastard münchen and be my player two."

suddenly, he lunged forward and wrapped his arms around your body, pressing his cheek against the top of your head. you spluttered, tottering around on your tiptoes as he was practically lifting you off the ground. there was no sense of balance when it came to his monstrous height.

"kaiser, i'd get obliterated on bastard münchen. just like you're squeezing me to death right now."

"and? if my love gets to play football, then they can only play with me," he whispered into your hair. "only a king like me can have such a charming partner. how lucky am I?"

"so lucky. you can finally become a better player!" you joked but wheezed after kaiser lightly pinched your sides. "that was absolutely unnecessary. red card right now."

"oh? may i remind you that your feet were too wide apart and might i even add that you were almost in offside posi—"

"offside was never a thing in this game!"
