i woke up to the morning shine greatly affecting my vision. i layed there for a moment to finally realize itto was still asleep. i was very surprised because usually at this time he would be up to make breakfast buttt it never ended so well, so i was honestly glad he was asleep. he looked so peaceful asleep i couldnt help but softly kiss his cheek.
"morning sunshine~"
i immediately jumped up hearing him speak, embarrassed due to what i just did.
"haha dont be too surprised there, i was awake before you were!"
still embarrassed i went under the covers to hide my tomato red face. i could feel itto sit up and kiss my head from under the blanket.
"alright alright, when you calm down come out so i can show you something!"
i slightly nodded knowing he could see the blanket move. i then heard the door close meaning itto had to of been out of the room, or so i thought. when i pulled the covers off i saw itto waiting right next to me giving quite a shock.
"ah, you scared me itto"
"s-sorry! i just couldnt bring myself to leave haha"
with the irritation of how caring itto was i went in for a quick kiss. immediately looking down out of embarrassment.
"arent you just adorable"
he ruffled up my hair followed by a chuckle, this time he actually got up and left the room this i knew because a huge blanket wasnt over my head. i wasnt very tired after everything that happened so far this morning, but for some weird reason i had a huge wave of tiredness causing me to lay back down and sleep.
i woke up quite a few moments later with the warm embrace of itto once again. this time i didnt want this embrace to end. i closed my eyes to prevent any sudden movement of mine, when i felt a gentle peck at my ear, as shivers went down my spine my ear also twitched. i heard a slight chuckle from itto which i did not respond to. there went another gentle kiss to my ear which was all i could handle.
"o-okay okay! im awake!"
"of course you were, hah your reactions are quite noticeable"
i turned around to face him, completely ignoring his remark. i snuggled closer leaving itto quite confused.
"this is different?"
"shut up."
"righto"
i could feel itto grin over me as if he was enjoying this. i didnt really enjoy being the one to
be so clingy, but right now i just wanted to be embraced by itto. maybe i just miss him that much. i stayed there for a little too long getting sleepy once more, but i woke myself up because i did not want to fall asleep again. i slightly started to pull away, signaling itto i wanted to move. he quickly got up and yawned as if he had just woke up.
"whats the matter pup?"
"nothing, i just didnt want to fall asleep again haha knowing i would"
"oh sure, hey wanna go somewhere today?"
"such assss?.."
"its a surprise! cmon get dressed"
"ah- o-okay"
i do say, i was quite excited to be going out with itto today, i just wish i knew where we were going. i quickly got dressed and rushed to the bathroom to brush my teeth, i fluffed my hair a bit along with my tail, just in case there was a couple knots i got the brush and went through it very quickly. when i opened the door i saw itto standing at the door like a child who just saw the best toy ever.
"you look amazing!"
"i look like this everyday though"
"oh- then you look suuuuper amazing today!"
"t-thanks itto"
he grabbed my hand as if we were leaving and before i knew it we were at the door.
"here, i got your shoes for you so we could leave faster" he smiled so big it was like the sun itself
"why thank you"
"of course!"
it was obvious he wanted to leave already so i made sure to make haste while i put my shoes on, honestly i think this is the fastest ive ever put them on.
"ready?"
"yup"
"alright!!"
he grabbed my hand once again, very fast but gentle. we rushed out the door and went down a certain path, which i was familiar with but never went down too often. it lead to a beautiful spot indeed, so i wonder where he was taking me. after a while we came to a stop.
"close your eyes!"
"huh- oh okay" i closed my eyes a bit nervously.
he went behind me which startled me quite a bit, he then grabbed my shoulders to obviously guide me, i maybe ran into a few rocks, but that didnt knock me off my balance.
"okay, were here! open your eyes!"
i opened my eyes to expectedly see the beautiful scene, but as i looked to a spot on a small hill there was a blanket and some appetizers, i had no choice but to hint it was a picnic. we walked closer so we could see clearly of what itto set up.
"ta-daa!~" a proud smile greatly shone over his face "like it?"
"i-i love it, thank you"
with the same proud look on his face, he started to guide me once more, not by my shoulders but by my waist. it startled me quite a bit but it wasnt for long. itto sat down while still holding my waist, i was a bit confused until he pulled me down into his lap.
"i-is this really necessary?"
"of course it is!"
he had already spent his time on me by setting this up, the most i could repay him was to do what he asked.
"you made all of this?"
"huh- oh! yeah i did! pretty awesome right?"
"this is pretty impressive, especially from you"
"heheh- hey wait- what do you mean?!"
"ah- nothing dont worry about it"
"tell meeee~"
"well its just- youre absolutely horrible at cooking"
"that i have to admit, but thats when i use fire! i made this all by hand"
that proud smile from not too long ago was back again. i looked over at the appetizers to see that everything was indeed handmade. i spotted something from afar that i wanted to try, it looked pink with some type of white filling but since i was in ittos lap i couldnt reach over to grab it. it was like itto read my mind when i saw him pick up the unknown treat and bring it to my mouth. he was obviously trying to feed me so of course i opened my mouth and leaned closer, allowing the treat to enter my mouth. i was quite embarrassed of what'd id just done, but i tried to focus more on the taste. it was almost fluffy, with a strange texture of it melting onto my tongue, it tasted like something like ive never had before, something so fascinating i couldnt even compare the taste to something ive eaten before. im sure itto could see my face which was confused, blushed, and surprised.
"how is it?.."
i turned around to see itto looking a bit worried
"it is quite delicious, i just cant bring myself to put the deliciousness into actual words."
"well thats good you dont know what it is!"
"why shouldnt i know?-"
"no specific reason"
for just a split second he had the cheekiest smile ever, until he looked at my face as if he was studying every aspect within just a second. that was when he had leaned in for a gentle kiss, though this should have been normal i got embarrassed like always.
"you werent lying, this is quite delicious!"
once again confusion took over me, until i realized i had some of the white filling on my lips, that was until he kissed me. after realizing i turned my head back around to put my face in my hands, i was too embarrassed to say anything. itto started laughing hysterically, not in a creepy way, but in a somewhat cute way. we finished our picnic after i calmed down, and almost all the appetizers were gone. the sun was starting to set so we decided to go home. we held hands the way back home since not many people were out this late. when we got home i was first to wash up, itto was second. i waited for him to finish until i laid down, which was perfect because by the time he was done, it was time to sleep. we got into bed, itto coming closer (as always) to snuggle. we said our goodnights and went to sleep.
