Jealousy

Donnie's pov

Me and Casey has been hanging out quite a lot now, it's been a while since any of us seen April too, sometimes I wonder if she's okay but sometimes I forget who she is. Unfortunately, while me and Casey was relaxing and talking to each other on the couch, we heard a familiar voice, "Hey guys." It was April?! I stare at her, still a bit salty, Casey waved to her tho, smiling, I hated that. April waved back, a smile on her face, she went to go find the others next, like as if she had never left, like none of that happened. Casey could tell I was still pretty upset with her so he pulled me into a hug, I just let out a sigh and hugged back.

A few hours go by and it's as if she hadn't literally left for who knows how long to who knows where! But that doesn't matter, I guess, I just crossed my arms, she and Casey has been talking for a while, I hated watching that. I decided to walk over and hug Casey, he hugged back and I felt a bit better, I just glared at April though, she could tell something was off about me, she smiled nervously. I just remained clinging to Casey, didn't seem to bother him either, April on the other hand, seemed to have other thoughts, she smiled and laughed a bit, "Donnie, are you jealous?" I got a bit mad, "Jealous?! You don't even exist to me," I said rather harshly, I didn't even mean to, it just slipped. We were left in silence, April looked Very hurt by what I had said, I couldn't even tell how Casey felt about me, I didn't want to know.

I just pulled away from the hug and left quickly to my lab, unfortunately Casey followed, hugging me from behind, I didn't know what to do, but I didn't fight the hug. "Donnie, I know you're still mad at her, but you can't keep holding a grudge, it's not good for your health," he tried his best to be comforting. I was too angry though, I couldn't stop myself from talking, "She left for who knows how long! And you all just act like nothing happened?! That's stupid!" Casey sighed, hugging a bit tighter, "She's out friend, I know she cares about all of us, like I care about you." I just crossed my arms, "Why are you defending her?" Casey smiled a bit, slightly laughing, this made me confused, "Why are you laughing?!" Casey turned me around, still holding me close, "She's right, you do seem jealous." I blushes a bit, looking away, "Of course not! There's nothing to be jealous about!"

Casey smiled, moving his face close to mine, "Donnie, do you like me?" I blushed a bit more, "W-what?! Why??" Casey laughed a bit, "You're so cute." I rolled my eyes, "Seems like you're the one who likes me." Casey just stared at me, a stupid smile on his stupid face, "What if I do?" I was slightly taken off guard by that, quite flustered, "I-I... Uhm- Well, I mean, I wouldn't, reject?" Casey just laughed, "Just answer the first question, do you like me?" I went silent for a bit, I so badly wanted to cover my blushing face, he's so stupid! I couldn't find my voice so I just pulled his face closer to mine, he did the same, soon pulling each other into a kiss. I was so happy, I thought I'd never love again, but now I know, I love you, Casey Jones.
