I Deserve Better

Casey's pov

I was talking to Leo and Donnie when I noticed April was walking over, I slightly looked at Donnie since I knew he wasn't very happy with her for leaving the way she did, but I understand. She looked at him and asked, "Donnie, can we talk? Please?" Donnie was hesitant, then looked at me for an answer, I just gave a nod and he sighed, looking back at April, he spoke, "Fine, but make it quick." April led him to a different room and I just looked at Leo, he would shrug.

Donnie's pov

Me and April entered a different room, she turned to look at me and I crossed my arms, I finally asked,  "So what did you need?" She looked a bit away, fidgeting with her fingers, "Donnie... I'm really sorry for what I said to you, and sorry for disappearing, Splinter sent me to go do a mission for my training." I just let her speak, at least I know why she disappeared, I finally decided to ask her, "Okay, but.. Why were you so mean when I told you I liked you?" April sighed, "I... I was too scared to see how others would react, truth is, I like you too." I was in shock, she what?? She spoke again, "I was... Wondering... If maybe we could.. y'know.. be toge-" I cut her off with putting a hand up to stop her, "Y'know what, I deserve better. You were scared to see how others would react?? Who cares how they feel! And no! I don't think we should." I turned around to walk out, leaving her alone in tears, I felt bad but, I can't be with her, I don't even like her like that anymore!

I walked back to Leo and Casey, they could tell something was wrong almost immediately, but I just shook my head so they wouldn't ask, we just decided to go back to what we were doing before April had came up to talk to me. I just couldn't stop looking over to Casey, he helped get April off my mind, he's just so... Cute.
