You were tired, so very but you wanted to stay up with Donnie while he worked on updating Shelldon's malware "don? Are you almost done?" You softly asked, sitting up on his bed he had in his lab, you were already dozing off slightly and he knew it just from one glance at you

"Why don't you take a nap? It won't take me to much longer before I'm done fixing Shelldon up" he hummed before looking up at you and letting a soft tired smile slip, Donnie was obviously as tired as you if he was smiling at you like that "take a nap, I won't judge you for being tired, you obviously need the sleep" he hummed before going back to fixing Shelldon up who looked at if he was deeply displeased with this

"Don? You need sleep to, please come lay down before you pass out at your work table like last time" you shuffled off the bed and walked up behind him, wrapping your arms around his neck and nuzzling into him "I'm not taking a nap until you join me" and with that he let out a soft sigh before closing Shelldon's case, popping in back in place before screwing it shut, as soon as Donnie stood up Shelldon zoomed off to get out of the room "finally I'm free" he yelled from a distance

Donnie softly sighed before picking you up and placing you back on his bed "since you want to be difficult about sleeping I suppose I have no choice but to join you" he mumbled before walking across his lab to reach into a cabinet and grab a blanket before tossing it to you "here, so you don't get cold" he walked back to the bed and climbed up "now tell me why I had to join you when I would have been perfectly fine pulling an all nighter"

He laid back on the bed and wrapped his arms around your waist as you snuggled under the blanket he gave you, pulling you close to his chest as he snuggled under the blankets with you

"you don't need to be pulling all nighters, it's not good for your health D, as a man of science yourself, you should know that" he looked away as if contemplating something before letting out a soft sigh "well I'm in bed with you now I suppose that all nighter will have to wait" he huffed and nuzzled his snout into your neck

"Get some rest D, you can finish upgrading Shelldon in the morning when we're both not exhausted" and with that you gently ran you nails down his shell as if coaxing him to sleep, it didn't take much to get him to pass out so by the time you heard him softly snoring you weren't even half asleep yet

Finally you nuzzled into him and slowly drifted off to sleep "night Donnie, I love you" you softly mumbled before finally passing out wrapped up in your boyfriend's arms
