You'd woken up just moments prior with an aggressive case of morning sickness, your boyfriend waking with a start not much later once he realized you weren't in bed with him

He'd shot off his hanging bed when he noticed you weren't in the room only to see you rushing out of the room

By the time you'd made it to the bathroom raph was already standing outside of the door waiting for you, he didn't want to intrude until he heard the unmistakable sound of retching

You heard the door open but you couldn't lift your head up lest you risk hurling again

"Baby what's wrong? Are you sick?"

There's a worried tone in his voice and you want to comfort him but your stomachs already queasy again

When you weren't about to throw up your own guts raph had you sat in his room, laid out on his plastron as he gently stroked your hair "think you might need to go to the doctor?"

"I don't know maybe... But I've got work tomorrow and a meeting so I doubt I'll have time"

"You could stop by the ER, they're always open"

"Yeah but it's not really an emergency"

Raph let out a soft hum before wrapping his arms around your waist and rolling over to lay on your side with you

"It is if you don't know what's wrong, I say we go back to your apartment so you can grab your car and I wait on you while you head to the ER"

You let out a soft sigh, you knew he wasn't going to let up if he thought you were sick

"fine, I'll go but I doubt it's anything bad"

Curse your past self for being such an idiot, it's never not anything bad with you, and while your current predicament may not be bad you still weren't sure what raph would say

You two had been intimate for quite awhile and while you weren't sure if anything would come of it given how very little human DNA he has, you hadn't anticipated getting pregnant

He was in for quite the surprise when you got back to the apartment

How would you even tell him 'hey babe your gonna be a dad'? God no! You didn't even know what to do so you stopped by a convience store to grab a snack and think things through

And by think things through you immediately called April, sure it was four in the morning but that never stopped her from picking up when you called

"Hey girl, what's up?"

"Christ where do I begin?"

She knew by the tone in your voice that this was either going to be good news or terribly bad news

"Maybe start from the begining hun"

"Right so um.... I went to the ER cause I'd woken up like three and had to hurl, raph told me to go to the ER in case it was like a stomach virus or something"

She gave a thoughtful hum before you heard shuffling from her end

"And did you find out what it was?"
