Delilah Curry was walking through a town in Castle Point, she was sleep deprived, dehydrated, and hungry.

She saw a big brick house, she grabbed a rock and threw it in the window she climbed in she heard grunts of pain and crying.

She pulled out her drum stick and readied them she turned into a kitchen and saw a blonde lady and a guy he was all bloody and dirty not that she could say lot for herself.

"What happens." Delilah asked. "I don't know he hit his head and he's losing a lot of blood!" She cried.

She head pounding coming from the front door. "Shit." She said quietly . She heard a lock click.

She stayed crouched by the two people the guy coughed. She saw a dark skinned lady with a braid round a corner with her gun raised.

She instinctively reached for her waist band. "Please don't shoot us." The lady pleaded. A guy with a hammer was behind her.

"My husband is hurt." She explained. "What are you doing in my house?" The woman with a gun asked. "The fireman said we'd be safe here." The lady on the ground said. The woman looked at Delilah "I just got here." She said.

They moved him to the couch and Delilah introduced herself to them. She stood in the corner after hearing about the storm.

"We need to get out of here before this storm hits." Murphy complained. "And go where, huh?" Garnett asked.

"What are we supposed to do just sit here and hope it misses us?" Murphy asked again.

"The basement is secure we could ride it out down there let's just gather some supplies before it hits." Warren told everyone.

"Kitchen was pretty well stocked up." 10k said. "There's water and canned food, no medical supplies, no batteries." Cassandra explained.

"We need to get our communications up, you three go out in the neighborhood and see what you can find. Don't go far." He said to the three.

They all nodded.

"Before to get back before the storm hits." He said again.

Delilah led the group out. "I think I saw a police station we can start there." She explained.

They ran through an alleyway, the wind was blowing hard and thunder was rumbling.

"We're not gonna make it, cmon in here." Delilah yelled. "Let's go to the car!" Cassandra yelled.

"That's just gonna flip putting us in more trouble." She kicked open the door. The two just stood there. "Let's go!" Delilah groaned getting fed up with them. They ran inside and slammed the door shut.

There was still a window that needed to be covered.

Delilah and 10k pushed a table against the door. She spotted a big peace of ply wood she started lifting it but it was too heavy she looked back to see Cassandra holding on to 10k and got annoyed.

"Can you guys stop cuddling and help me with this fucking window." She said rolling her eyes. 10k helped her pick up the piece of wood and set it against the window.

Once it was in place she slid down against the wall 10k next to her. Cassandra looked annoyed but ultimately slid down next to 10k.

The wind picked up and Delilah was exhausted she pulled her knees up to her chest and put her head down.

The three got up when they realized it was over they walked out and started heading back to the house.

"Why is he bald now?" Delilah asked. No one answered.

They we're all standing by a black truck and a fire truck. Delilah had decided to go with them to California.

Delilah, 10k and Cassandra sat in the middle of the truck. Delilah sat down and fell asleep in her own arms.
