Delilah sat in the bed of the truck with 10k when the truck came to a stop. 10k climbed under the truck and began looking at it.
Delilah leaned up against the truck and looked out into the field. Addy and Mack took off on the motorcycle the found.
"I found a leak in the radiator hose, taped it up a little bit but we're not going anywhere unless we get some water in there." 10k explained climbing out from under the truck.
"I'll drive." Delilah piped up getter into the driver seat. "Knock yourself out kid." Doc said.
She pressed on the gas and sped off. "Woah easy there kid! Who taught you how to drive?" Doc asked. "Uh no one." She replied.
"Hands on the ten and the two." Doc said to her. Cassandra and 10k buckled up in the back.
"I said no one taught me not I didn't know how." Delilah replied.
"Go right." Murphy said to Delilah. "Why right?" Doc asked. "Why not?" He replied.
Delilah turned right and kept going. "No z's" that's a good sign." Doc said.
"Getting interesting, liquor! Now your talking. Murphy, we're gonna have to let you navigate more often." Doc said excitedly.
"Congratulations little lady your now the designated driver." Doc said to Delilah.
She stifled a laugh and rolled her eyes.
She pulled into a building when a guy said stop she pressed on the brakes. "You guys armed?" The guy asked. "Obviously." Cassandra replied.
"Good we don't have time to babysit anymore." He said. Delilah pulled into a parking lot and parked.
The guy and Doc knew each other and they walked back to a 18 wheeler.
Delilah looked around mapping the place just in case. She ignored all of them.
The group walked into the bar when Murphy went up to them. "Hey, you gotta do something about her, I'm not waiting for anybody." Murphy said to them.
"I know Murphy. Keep your shorts on. Have you seen a guy in here named wannamaker?" Doc asked him.
"What are we making friends now?" Murphy asked.
"Anybody know anyone in here named wannamaker?" Doc shouted. "Who wants to know?" A bald guy asked.
"Oh we're just looking to trade." Doc explained. "Yknow just a little business, my friend said he might have a vehicle." Doc said.
"Yeah, wannamakers got cars" he said. "Do you know where he is?" Doc asked.
They walked over to guy. He wanted something to trade. He looked at Cassandra who showed him the middle finger.
She just ignored them and looked around mapping more of the place in her head.
They we're in line when a lady walked by and looked Delilah up and down. Delilah followed her with her eyes and turned back around.
10k introduced himself to the girl. "Your not my type." She said to him.
The Forman was trying to shoot Murphy but missed three times making three people into zombies.
Doc and Cassandra went up to 10k who was still in the game. "We need to get him out of here."Doc told the girls.
"We can't he's still in the game." Delilah told him.
Zombies started coming up from the hill, Delilah pulled out her sticks and went to stand a little closer to 10k just in case the zombies got to close.
The girl and 10k shot through the same hole. 10k won the shootout and the gun by killing the driver.
Delilah took out her pistol she stole and started killing zombies that were running towards them.
The girl from before was talking about finding her dad. "There he is." She said pointing to her dad.
10k shot the zombie chasing him and counted it off. 10k gave his gun to the girl and then kissed Delilah on the cheek.
She smirked at 10 before running back to the truck and pulling 10k along.
Delilah was ahead of him when she saw a zombie try and bite him. Just before it happened Delilah stabbed it from behind.
He looked down at her with a small smile and she looked back up at him before pulling him along and into the truck.
10k and Delilah sat in the back of the truck. She started drumming the song 'Undone' By weezer on the side of the truck.
She then started humming the guitar. "What song is that?" 10k asked. "Its uh called undone it's a song by weezer." She replied.
"Did you play the drums before all this?" He asked again. "Yeah, yeah I was in a band." She answered.
"Hey uh, do you like not like me? Or are you just quiet." He asked squinting his eyes. She laughed a little before looking up at him.
"I don't know, I- just before you guys I was never with anyone I hadn't said a word before finding that couple in warrens house." She said.
"Oh uh if you don't mind me asking why we're you alone." He asked again. "My mom, she died when it started I was like really mad but I got over it. But I just didn't wanna get attached to anyone that's kinda why I'm not talking to you guys a lot." She explained looking into his eyes.
"Oh I get it my pa died during it." He said also making eye contact. "Y'know you don't have to but you can talk to me, not like get attached or anything-" he got cutoff.
"Yeah I'll talk to you." She said with a small smile. She got up and sat by him leaning her head against his shoulder and fell asleep.
