TW MENTIONS OF SUICIDE, ED, AND SCARRING!! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!

I remember it like it happened yesterday. I just wanted to know why Remus got special treatment sometimes. Honestly, never would I have expected to need the same treatment just a month later. That bitch.

"Stop staring at the damn bird and keep walking. Honestly, you're a dead weight right now, Roman." Of course, even Dad would like to pretend this never happened. Unfortunately, I now have weird ass abilities to do dumb things which means I have to go to a dumb new school with dumb weird people everywhere.

"I'll take it from here, Dad. Come along now, we wouldn't want to miss the train!" Remus seems so joyful all the time. Does it not occur to him that he's a literal monster?

I follow Remus to the train and into the same cart he's sat in. I slump down into the seat across from him and stare out the window hoping for something interesting to see. Instead, I'm met with my own reflection and the scars that come with it. Great.

It's not like I want to be here, I'm forced to be. Not even just the school but sitting here, right next to the one who made me this way. I would leave if I had a fraction of mind with what I'm doing. Alas, I must endure the pain for a bit until everything's sorted and I know how to get around without him.

Suddenly, a very loud, very obnoxious voice ruins my peace and quiet. "Hey, Moony! Who's this? New friend? Are you a first-year or something? I've not seen you around before." I'll assume he's talking to me, or about me, whichever. Out of the corner of my eye, I see someone sitting next to Remus, soon followed by a whine from whoever was speaking before.

"Hey, Prongs, no fair. You always sit next to Moony, it's my turn." The male says, I grit my teeth at his annoying voice. It sounded normal before, but now this guy sounds like a right child.

"Uhm, ok, Pads just sit down so I can hurry this along." With that, I feel a weight next to me. I try my best not to acknowledge that I now have no way to leave and I'm officially stuck going to this dreadful place.

"No questions or comments while I'm speaking, please. I'll explain it all as I go along. So, this is Roman. He's my brother, twin brother. We thought he was a muggle until something happened and we discovered he wasn't." I scoff at him avoiding what "something" really was. Apparently, my nonverbal opinion was loud enough to catch the attention of the three boys.

"Oh, so he is alive! Please, say something so we know you're not mute as well." The boy next to Remus says, almost in a snarky remark. I roll my eyes as I turn around to face the three, making it obvious I was unamused by their stupid chuckles and smirks turning into worried expressions as they come to meet my scarred face.

"No, don't let me stop you from explaining how I came to be here in this situation, Remus. But don't forget to tell them all the juicy details about how you halfway slaughtered me. Seriously, go ahead. I won't stop you." I finally get a good look at the boy next to me, trying not to make it too obvious that I'm eyeing him. He's decently tall with a nicely built frame, his arms are big but not obnoxiously so, and his face is gorgeous. Unlike mine.

"Does that mean you're a w-word too?" He asks sincerely. I get taken aback for a moment, unsure of how he'd know. Instead of really answering, I just turn back to face the window. The cart quickly got a dark feeling to it, like a cloud of depression just began to rain over our heads. Finally, a feeling I was accustomed to.

I wake up what I guess is a few hours later. I feel oddly warm and comfortable, weird. I hear voices slowly become less muffled as I regain consciousness.

"No, I'm not saying he has to have a nickname. I'm simply saying he's Moony 2.0 and that's all." It's the same voice from before, the one of the pretty boy next to me. Just then, I realize my hair's being played with, it's a nice feeling. Should I tell them I'm awake?
