Chapter 3

"Azura and Liam your both late." Azura looked at the ground "Sorry mentor." The mentor had been a boy 16 years of age he was an elf with violet eyes and short black hair he wore fancy blue robes "Yeah." The mentor said "I've been a  tower mage for my known entire life  I walk the path and so shall you, I've trained you since I was assigned to you when you were 3 you are now 6, you my dear Azura are a master mage though you are held back magically by words that human and elf mages must uses, you are a fairy you must come off the magical training wheels and onto fairy's way of magic so for now on until your 16th birthday I will assign you a book every month that you must read, my assignment for you is to learn the way fairy's use magic, no words." Azura felt scared nodding slowly lend looked over to Liam "You like Azura learned so much, but it comes that you like Azura must stop relying on your staff and start relying on your hands and words." Liam and Azura both nodded with a smiled.

8 and a half years later

"Mentor I've done read every book you gave me since I was 6 but I just can't figure it out, wordless." Lend looked at Azura sighed he lifted her head with his fingers "Azura, believe in yourself the same way I believe in you I know it may seem difficult but to pass you must do it, you and Liam will be assigned your protégés, you must continue on the flame of knowledge and magic."  Azura sighed she nodded lend let go and turned he walked towards a stone window which was the only window in this office building, the room had only a few types of furniture which was a desk, bookshelves and chairs, Azura turned and left waiting in front of the door Liam, although younger was slightly taller with now grayish brown hair and dark green eyes "How was it?" Azura sighed she turned and began to walk soon Liam followed "I tried explaining I can't do wordless hand casting and he said to keep trying, that basically if I fail this I'll be forced to give up magic and my memories will be locked away... I don't wish to forget you." Azura said worried Liam smiled "Don't worry Azura I'm sure Ameren, the god of magic will protect you." Liam held tightly onto a necklace of a light blue fire "Ameren won't have my back, I'm a fairy and it says in the text that he despite's the fairy's creator Adora the manipulator who had Ameren create magic in the first place."  Liam frowns "All I'm saying is put your faith in them and I'm sure your luck will pre-" Azura and Liam suddenly stopped "La recognizable face looked towards them with a mildly twisted smile "Long time no see Azura." Azura looked confused she backed up a bit "Who are you!?" The boy snapped his fingers causing the hallway behind Azura to collapse until you can see the night sky and the tilter half of the tower that is suspended in mid air Azura looked towards the man frightened "No running children." Azura tried to pull out her staff and cast but the man snapped his fingers again forcing her and Liam's mouth shut and disarming her and Liam "No casting either." The man walked forward with an even more wicker smile than last "I'm Camden m'dear and you'll come with me." Azura closed her eyes hard come on you can do this. Imagine a spark or something! A spark formed in her mind that spark grew into a small flame now do something! And with that the spark flew off dancing in the sky then once meeting it's target it exploded, Azura opened her eyes the fire in front of her engulfed the walls and grounds surrounding the man who seemed like a god as he lays knocked down Liam looked over, Azura looked back both looked in shocked due to what she'd done "You'd done it cast wordlessly and staff-less!" He said smiled Azura smiled she looked at her hands and concentrated waving her hand around she and Liam disappeared leaving only a gust of wind.

Azura opened her eyes which slowly adjusted to the newly shown bright light of the sun green forests surrounded her she looked around and that's when she saw Liam and both they noticed they were naked they both looked away "What the hell was that!?" Liam said Azura looked at her hands snapping her fingers clothes appeared on them covering them "we were attacked by an avatar of  a god I believe." Liam looked over "That's obvious I'm talking about this whole teleportation situation, when did you learn magic like that?!" Liam said confused Azura looked back at him she walked towards him "I saw mentor perform the same spell, but I modified it to take us to a location where we can follow our destiny's but together." Azura looked back towards the way she was looking there they'd heard a small town she walked forward "We, can finally follow our adventuring dreams, you can be the knight I can be the mage. With the tower in another continent we have nothing to worry about..." Azura stopped and began to reached over towards the voices she looked back and offered a hand "Don't you want that, a place where we can be together?" Liam nodded he to walked forward grabbing her hand they both continued forward.
