S1,E6: Secret of the Sixth Monkey

Anastasia's Prov
It had been a long day yesterday, another monster attack. This time around it was a giant eyeball with spikes, old bonehead really wasn't putting much effort with this one. But it was enough to give us trouble along the way, and that is why we are here watching yesterday's events to pinpoint where we could have done better. As we watched the screen we came to the part where those quills were shot at the civilians, and we used The Super Robot to block their path. Slapping more away before going to the source and punching it straight into its ugly eye. It didn't stay down long though before it started shooting its quills at us, pinning The Super Robot to a building. A spike piercing through its chest almost getting Chiro.
Vid Chiro- Ugh, Ahhh!
Antauri and I trying to increase The Super Robots power to break free, as that eyesore got closer growing new spikes.
Vid Antauri- Sprx increase breakaway leverage!
Vid Sprx77- It's no good!
Vid Otto- We're stuck!
Vid Chiro- Not as stuck as we're about to be.
Antauri then paused the footage, just as that nasty thing was coming right at the robot.
Antauri- At this point we appeared to be doomed. Would anyone like to explain how we came to this?
Anastasia- I could've activated our defense systems faster.
Nova- My reflexes were too slow.
Otto- My aim was off.
Gibson- My calculations were faulty.
As we got to Sprx, he was too busy polishing his magnet, not even once paying attention.
Sprx77- My... feeling exactly! They all messed up.
Anastasia- Um Sprx from what I could see from yesterday's recording, you need to work on your protectory.
Sprx77- Uh hehe I guess I could do that, never mind.
Chiro- Hey, let's not forget how this all came out.
Chiro resumes the video.
Vid Chiro- Lasertron Fury!
One blast and it was gone, our Chiro taking a bow for his victory. While my mate and I were not impressed, as Antauri turned off the screen and cleared out his throat.
Antauri- Yes well...My intention Chiro, was to identify our weaknesses and thereby learn where we need improvement.
Anastasia- That way it would be harder for our enemies to exploit them in the future.
Chiro- I don't know as team leader I'd say I was pretty good.
Chiro just looked away proudly with a confident smile. I swear he was going to get badly hurt one of these days from thinking like that.
Antauri- Very well, for those of us who were not so good I have an assignment. I want each of you to come up with one new battle move.
Everyone left for their rooms, while we went to the training room. Once there we began to spar, analyzing each other's movements and attacks trying to find a new angle of defense. We trained for hours, and Antauri finally came up with a new move he called Mega Monkey Paw! He will never cease to amaze me, then my mate came straight at me. Antauri was an inch from my face, before I spun out of the way and brought out my weapon. One I never once used in my life, as it gleamed an inch by my mate's throat as he stood frozen in place with large eyes holding his breath. One of my Crystal Scythes, a weapon that was gifted to me long ago by said mate.





Antauri- Impressive my love, for a moment I thought I was truly done for. I'm glad you are finally using my gift, tell me what do you call this attack?
Anastasia- Dancing Soul Stealer.
I said as I removed my weapon away from him, as he sighed in relief. I had only just replaced my hands, before Antauri turned around and embraced me in his arms.
Antauri- That was amazing my love. The way you used misdirection and close proximity, to your advantage to get within one's defense range was truly breathtaking.
He praised me while kissing my lips, awarding me for my accomplishment and sharp wit.
Anastasia- Well, I say we both have made an achievement in our training my love. Are you ready to see what the others have been working on?
He nodded as we headed back to the main deck above, and everyone except Chiro was there ready to demonstrate their newest moves. I then felt a snap within my conscious, as if something had just broken free.
Mandarin- Onya~.
Someone whispered my name, and I looked behind me, but no one was there. I could have sworn I knew that voice, but I got distracted with my siblings. I should have known what was about to happen next, God's how I wish I had known sooner.
Antauri- Otto please begin.
Otto- Okay, I call this my Vertical Razor Chariot!
Otto had brought out his saws and placed one behind, the other one in front of himself. Making himself into a living motorcycle, before zooming away up the wall.
Antauri- Very inventive, Sprx what do you have?
Sprx77- Just a little something I'd call...Gyro Roll!
Sprx directed our attention to Gibson out of Cannon, before bringing out his magnets and spinning himself within an electro current. Reflecting the attack back at the cannon and destroying it, thankfully without hurting Gibson. I saw Nova start to make her move on my little brother, oh this was going to be good.
Antauri- Excellent maneuver Sprx.
Sprx77- What can I say, I'm a hard act to follow.
Nova- Knuckle Duster!
Nova came right at Sprx with her fist, scaring him so bad he coward in fear. Only to realize she stopped an inch within his face, and just as he released the sigh of relief Nova's knuckles hit him straight into the wall knocking him out.
Nova- Part of its effectiveness is the surprise.
Antauri- So it would appear, Gibson?
Gibson just smiled before looking at his right drill, spinning it before blasting the wall causing the lights to turn out. It's a good thing we have night vision, till the lights turned back on within the next few seconds.
Gibson- I have dub them, Bio Static Energy Amplification Darts.
That's going to be a mouthful, Otto though just had an idea.
Otto- OoOoOo! How about The Spin Shocker!
Gibson- Spin Shocker? Please it's not a dance move.
Well, I know someone who was going to be "Shocked" when I'm done, Sprx then turned to us.
Sprx77- Antauri, Ann? Bring anything to the party?
Antauri- We have been working on a little something. Do you want to share your new move first my love?
Anastasia- Gladly love, Gibson could you please hold still for a moment?
Gibson- Sure Ann, I guess but why Ahhh?!
Anastasia- Dancing Soul Stealer!
I hadn't even given him time to think before I made my move. As I had done earlier, I had stopped just an inch away from his neck. Gibson and the others were speechless, Gibson sweating bullets and gulping down a large amount of saliva as I pulled away. I swear his fur was lighter.
Anastasia- Are you alright Gibson?
Gibson- Uhhh q-quit f-f-fine Ann, I-I just need to s-sit down.
Then he almost fell over as he sat on the ground, as he recovered the others came over.
Sprx77- Hehe remind me not to get on your bad side Ann, that was terrifying! And here I thought Nova was scary.
Nova- Hey I could still use some practice Sprx, want to be my punching bag again?
Nova stared him down, before he took a step back sweating nervously.
Nova- That's what I thought, but still that was amazing Ann!
Otto- Go Annie! Wahoo!
Chiro decided to arrive in that very moment, and what he had made my heart skip in pain.
Chiro- Okay, you guys want to play show and tell? I got something, Heya!
My brothers shield! He had my big brother's shield! He found the secret compartment in his room, holding his glove and helmet! It was supposed to be hidden! Never to be seen by anyone again! The only items left of my big brother; the only thing left to remind me of that nightmare!
All- Screeched!
Chiro- What?!
Nova- It's Mandarin's Shield!
Chiro- Mandarin? What's a Mandarin?
The others turned to us with nervous looks, Antauri being the one to explain in the end.
Antauri- Not a what, Who. Chiro, there was a seventh monkey.
Chiro- Seventh monkey?
Antauri- Perhaps now is the time to just show you.
Antauri then proceeded to float up and share his memories with Chiro, while I was trapped within mine.
Antauri- Mandarin was the first of the Super Robot Monkeys created. By far the wisest, smartest and strongest, he was our leader and Anna's biological older brother. Though our mission was to protect Shuggazoom, Mandarin felt he and Anna were above serving as guardians. He wanted to rule with her as his heiress to the throne, this we could not let happen. We fought tirelessly for many days and nights, till he was finally close to death. But Anna couldn't stand to see Mandarin hurt, she wrapped him up in bandages and began to heal him with her Healing Spirit. A power that nearly cost her very own life in exchange, we couldn't let her sacrifice go waste. As a last resort we exiled him to an off-world prison, where he would remain safe but also no longer a threat.
I remembered my brother bleeding out, injuries and fatal wounds covering his entire body. He was choking on his own blood and suffering so much pain, I had treated his wounds, but it wasn't enough. He was covered in gauze from head to tail tip, and I could feel his life slipping away. My big brother was dying, and my heart couldn't forget the love it had for him, that's when I discovered my Healing Spirit. I was beside my big brother, crying into his chest asking why he would do this? Why he took it so far that now he was leaving me forever. I then remembered the healing ability I was developing; it wasn't much, and I couldn't guarantee it would save his life, but I had to try. I concentrated all my energy from my hands to him, the next moment I felt a pain in my heart. It felt as if I was dying, drained of all I was in body, heart and soul. If it wasn't for Antauri cutting me off from my concentration when he did, I would have been, but my brother lived and was sleeping peacefully. After watching Mandarin being taken away, I fell asleep, but it was a nightmare that I couldn't wake from. Repeating over and over in my mind, I was barely even conscious for more than a moment before slipping back under again. I had grown a very alarming high fever and couldn't eat. I nearly had died not long after that day, if it wasn't for Antauri's presence by my side and the unknown entity. Who replaced my nightmare with the loving sweet memories of my brother before he was lost to us. I was sworn never to use my Healing Spirit again after that and hid my big brother shield glove and helmet within his old room. Now it was found, and the feeling of dread grew stronger, as Antauri and Chiro returned to the present.
Chiro- Seventh monkey?
The alarms then started to blare out in!
Alarm- Warning, unidentified hostile craft approaching!
The monitor then showed a circular loop coming towards us, the feeling I had earlier got stronger, and I instantly knew who it was. My brother was back, and he sent out control collars out on the people of Shuggazoom!
Citizens of Shuggazoom- Must serve Mandarin.
Chiro- Activate The Super Robot!
We quickly went to our stations, but I was hesitant, I could only hope this was my imagination. Preparing ourselves for what was to come next.
Nova- Foot Crusher Cruiser 6 Go!
Otto- Foot Crusher Cruiser 5 Go!
Gibson- Fist Rocket 4 Go!
Sprx77- Fist Rocket 3 Go!
Antauri/Anastasia- Brain Scrambler Pilot 2 Go!
Chiro- Torso Tank Driver 1 Go! Prepare to disengage! Super!
Sprx77- Robot!
Antauri/Anastasia- Monkey!
Nova- Team!
Otto- Hyper!
Gibson- Force!
All- Go!
The robot then flew off to intersect with the threat, as Gibson took more scans.
Gibson- It's the Hostel Outlaw Observation Prison, also known as the HOOP. Homes to only one prisoner.
Chiro- It's him, isn't it?
I felt my mate tense up, as he held me closer. Refusing to let me go and I couldn't blame him. I was struggling with myself about my big brother.
Antauri- Shields up! Prepare for battle! Charge the Lasertron!
The Robot grabbed the HOOP and threw it away like a frisbee before we landed.
Chiro- Lasertron Fury!
Chiro fired at the prison, only for it to turn and allow the blast to go through. The HOOPs weapon systems then activated, firing at the joints of the Super Robot and separating the pieces! After we landed on the ground though, I could see Chiro on the monitor exiting the Torso Tank. Along with someone I thought I would never see again, as his bandages unwound from parts of his body. Finally revealing my oldest brother, Mandarin. He was still alive; it was like a dream and a nightmare as he came closer to Chiro. Antauri then grabbed my attention, and we quickly went to get the others to help. But I could still hear what they were saying over the comm system.
Mandarin- Why, you're just a boy.
Chiro- And you're the monkey who went bad. You don't scare me.
Mandarin- I don't intend to, I intend to get rid of you!
Mandarin brought out his sword and went for the attack! But Chiro activated the shield, blocking it just in time as we got closer.
Mandarin- You activated my shield? A human child? How is this possible?! Oh, unless... you're learning The Power Primate!
Chiro- Learning, I know it!
Mandarin- Then you should recognize this move. Monkey Mind Scream!
Chiro- Ahhh! Uhh.
Chiro was down, we haven't trained him to prepare for an attack yet! My mate called out, distracting my older brother from our son.
Antauri- Mandarin!
Mandarin looked up and saw us but was looking straight at me. He gave me a soft smile, before looking back at Antauri with a glare. I couldn't believe my eyes, as I was frozen in place. He was here right in front of us. I was scared and wanted to run, but I also just wanted to be held in his arms again and cry. My heart ached from the pain of the past, being relived now in the present. Then I remembered Chiro and ran to him, as my mate and brother faced each other ready to fight.
Anastasia- Chiro!
Antauri- Let the boy go, your fight is with us!
Mandarin- No, my fights with you ends now. Onya is coming with me this time, brother.
Antauri- Not if I can help it.
Mandarin's eyes glowed red and more of those control collars came right at us! Taking us down one by one, even me as I tried to protect Chiro refusing to let him go. Mandarin then trapped the others within a field bubble, as he monologues about his revenge.
Mandarin- How I have dreamt of this moment. Countless fantasies played out in the black sleep of stasis. Always the same, the absolute annihilation of the monkey team and my sister by my side once more. Sadly, our union must end, I have a city to conquer! Hahaha!
He said after receiving a signal, before sending the others to a separated piece of the HOOP. Mandarin then came over to me and an unconscious Chiro, as I held him close to me.
Mandarin- Onya, my dearest sweet little sister. How joyous it is to see you again after so long. I'm glad we are together again, my princess.
He got closer to us, and I softly growled at him, wrapping myself tighter around my son.
Anastasia- Mandarin, brother please let us go. Chiro has nothing to do with this, he's innocent.
Mandarin took a step back, analyzing the situation before he finally figured it out.
Mandarin- Aww, I see~. You have grown attached to the boy, haven't you? And if I'm correct, you've bonded with him enough to claim him as your own son. Hehe. Oh Onya, I've almost forgotten how fond you were of children. But don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you or your child. After all a ruler needs a successor to the throne, one that he can mold into his own image.
Mandarin smiled, as he lifted both of us with his levitation abilities. Also bringing the Super Robots parts, putting it back together before making it stand on a water tower holding the prison in the air. He brought us to the main control center and set us down gently, as he went to get something. I took that moment to analyze the control collar around Chiro's neck, I couldn't get the blasted thing off and even if I did, he was still knocked out. I was worried about the others; I can only imagine what was happening to them now. Mandarin soon returned and sat in the commanders' chair, setting a bag down in a compartment. He then turned on the monitors, watching the people of Shuggazoom City.
BT- Aw, where's the monkey team when you need them?
Glenny- Master Mandarin hears all.
Both- Please forgive us Mandarin.
I heard him growl in satisfaction, looking our way as Chiro finally woke up.
Anastasia- Easy Chiro, easy.
Chiro- Ugh, where are my monkeys?
Just then the monitors showed Skeleton King, just as my brother looked over to us again before responding to his master.
Skeleton King- No, the proper question is where are My monkeys?!
Mandarin- On route to your ship.
Skeleton King- Why isn't the boy with them?
Mandarin- Our arrangement was only for the monkeys. I have plans for the boy.
Skeleton King hung up and my brother looked over at us again, his eyes glowing red as he brought us over. He placed me by his side in the chair on his right, as Chiro remained levitated off the floor to his left.
Mandarin- The citizens of Shuggazoom cower, they tremble in our presence. We have The Power Primate, we are meant for a greater purpose. Especially you Onya, you were always meant to rule by my side as heiress to the throne.
Chiro just glared at him, showing his teeth. While I remained silent, thinking about the people of Shuggazoom.
Mandarin- You are angry, but you know I speak the truth. Why be there servant, when you can rule them all?
Chiro- Rule over Shuggazoom?
Mandarin- Or would you rather the Skeleton King did?
Chiro took a moment, thinking of his words. If there was any chance for us to escape, we had to play smart for now. Even though siding with the lesser of two evils, it's still evil.
Anastasia- And if we agreed, do you promise Chiro will be safe? That Skeleton King won't be able to hurt him?
Mandarin looked at me, uncrossing his arms as he crests my cheek with that soft smile. The same smile I haven't seen, since he gave me away at my mating ceremony to Antauri.
Mandarin- But of course Onya, like I said my arrangement was only for the monkeys. Your boy is safe, right where he belongs. As you are where you belong, with us.
Chiro- Fine, but only as long as Skeleton King doesn't. I will never side with that old Bone Bag.
Mandarin gave him a grin, amused by his stubbornness.
Mandarin- Understood, now I have a gift for the both of you.
He reopens the compartment from earlier and pulled out the bag, after placing Chiro down on his feet. He opened it and pulled out his spare armor, along with his old helmet, and gave them to Chiro as he put them on. He then gave me a tiara, placing it gently on my head.
