HEY YALL
I got a new book out it's called "When love meets destiny" wattpad won't let me put up the picture but yeah. PLEASE READ!!!!

Fatima Wilson strolled down the bleachers, her mind lost in a daze after another long day of dance practice. The late afternoon sun bathed Wilson High's football field in a warm glow, and the cheer squad had just wrapped up their routines for the homecoming game. Fatima, the senior HBIC of the school, led the dance team, but she wasn't your typical queen bee. Despite being the daughter of the school's founders and one of the most popular girls in the halls, Fatima was known for her kindness. She had a genuine warmth that made almost everyone gravitate toward her. Well, almost everyone.

As she made her way off the bleachers, too lost in thought to pay attention to her surroundings, she collided with someone. The jarring bump snapped her out of her daze.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry! I wasn't paying attention," Fatima said hurriedly, looking up to see a tall figure in front of her.

Zachary Taylor, the school's star quarterback and captain of the football team, stood before her, a smirk tugging at the corners of his lips. "Nah, it's cool. I was running," he said, his voice relaxed but charming.

Fatima's eyes widened slightly in recognition. "You're Zac, right? The captain of the football team and 'star quarterback'?" she teased with a smile.

Zac chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. "Yeah, that's me," he said, his smile disarming.

"Well, I'm Fatima. Fatima Wilson," she introduced herself, though she knew she didn't need to. Everyone at Wilson High knew who she was, especially since her parents had founded the school.

Zac nodded, his eyes lingering on hers for a moment. "Yeah, I know who you are. To be honest, everybody knows who you are. The principal's daughter and all," he replied with a grin.

Fatima gave a small, bashful laugh. "Yeah, I guess that comes with the territory."

"Well, I've gotta get back to running laps," Zac said, motioning toward the track, though his eyes seemed reluctant to leave hers.

"Alright, see you around, Zac," Fatima said, giving him a warm smile before walking away.

Little did they know, someone else had been watching the entire interaction—Zac's girlfriend, Maya, who was lurking near the bleachers, seething with jealousy.

**The Next Day**

Fatima couldn't stop thinking about Zac. She replayed their brief conversation in her head over and over. His easy smile, his laid-back confidence, his scent—a mix of fresh sweat and cologne—lingered in her mind. How had she never really noticed him before? Sure, they'd gone to the same school for years, but their worlds rarely crossed. Now, she couldn't shake the thought of him.

On the other side of campus, Zac had the same problem. He couldn't stop thinking about Fatima. She was beautiful, of course—everyone knew that—but it was more than just her looks. There was something about her energy, her kindness, that made her stand out. She had everything he'd ever wanted in a woman. It was a strange pull, something he couldn't quite explain.

But Zac wasn't the only one whose thoughts were occupied by Fatima. Maya, Zac's girlfriend, hadn't taken her eyes off the two of them since she saw them talking the day before. She knew Zac was a friendly guy, but something about the way he looked at Fatima rubbed her the wrong way. Maya couldn't help but feel like Fatima was trying to steal her man.

The next day, Fatima and Zac found themselves walking through the same hallway between classes. Fatima spotted Zac first and smiled, her heart doing a little flip when he approached her.

"Hey, Fatima. How've you been?" Zac asked, stopping in front of her.

"I'm good. How about you?" she replied, her voice light and casual, though she couldn't ignore the excitement bubbling underneath.

"I've been good," Zac said with a smile, running a hand down his waves.

But before Zac could say more, Fatima noticed something out of the corner of her eye. A girl standing at the end of the hallway, glaring at her like she wanted to burn a hole through her with her eyes. It didn't take long for Fatima to recognize who it was.

"Sorry to interrupt, but do you know the girl on the other side of the hallway who's looking at me like she wants to kill me?" Fatima asked, raising an eyebrow.

Zac turned and saw Maya standing there, her arms crossed and her eyes locked on Fatima. "Yeah, actually... That's my girlfriend."

Fatima felt her heart drop, though she tried to hide her disappointment. "Oh, you have a girlfriend," she said, forcing a smile. Her mood shifted instantly, a mix of surprise and awkwardness creeping in.

"Yeah, we've been together since freshman year," Zac explained, sounding casual, but he noticed the change in Fatima's expression.

"How cute," Fatima replied, her voice a little flat now.

"I'm gonna go see if she's okay. I'll talk to you later," Zac said, sensing Maya's growing anger from across the hallway.

Fatima gave him a small smile and nodded. "Okay, have a good day, Zachary."

As Zac walked away toward Maya, Fatima stood there for a moment, her thoughts racing. She was a little shocked by the whole situation. Zac seemed so cool, so easy to talk to, but now she knew he was off-limits. Fatima wasn't the kind of girl to mess with someone else's relationship. She made a mental note to leave the situation alone, for now at least.

Meanwhile, Zac approached Maya, who was clearly upset.

"Hey, babe," he said, leaning down to kiss her, but her response was cold and distant.

"Hey," Maya said flatly.

Zac frowned, sensing something was off. "What's wrong, baby?"

Maya narrowed her eyes. "Why were you talking to Fatima?"

Zac sighed, realizing this was the root of her anger. "Oh, because yesterday I ran into her after her practice. It was nothing."

Maya crossed her arms, her voice icy. "I don't like her, Zac. I feel like she's trying to take you away from me."

Zac shook his head, trying to reassure her. "Maya, I promise she's just a friend. Nothing more. I literally just met her yesterday, okay?"

Maya softened slightly, though the suspicion lingered. "Okay. But just remember, I don't trust her."

"I'll remember," Zac said, putting his arm around her shoulders. "You want me to walk you to class?"

Maya smiled, though the tension hadn't completely disappeared. "Yeah, of course."

As they walked down the hallway together, Maya made a mental note to keep a close eye on Fatima. She didn't like how friendly she seemed toward Zac, and she wasn't about to let her guard down. This wasn't over—not by a long shot.
