Christmas

(forgot to post this on Christmas)

"wakey wakey baby" Hailee said shaking you awake.

"what time is it?" you rubbed your tired eyes.

"half six" Hailee grinned and you got up.

You looked at Hailee as to say its too early but all she could do was laugh cause she loves waking you up on Christmas day.

You both walked down stairs and you made you both some coffee.

Hailee put hers on the table so she could open presens whilst you sat down on the sofa. You just giggled.

"can I?" Hailee asked.

"go ahead" you nodded.

You watched as Hailee grabbed yours and her stockings. She handed you yours as you placed your coffee down.

You loved opening the stuff in your stocking because each year you'd both get stuff for each others stockings and she'd always surprise you.

Hailee sat in front of you waiting for you to open your stuff. You was comfused as she normally would open hers first.

"dog toys?"

"wait here" Hailee got up and went into the other room.

She came back with a puppy in her hands.

"merry Christmas, baby" she smiled.

"he arrived at 6 and you can name him whatever you want" Hailee said as you stared to tear up.

"he looks like a Joey" you chuckled.

"Joey it is then".
