Hailee was out busy filming and making music as always and had said she was going to be home late.

She felt bad for it, leaving you late again as your son, Oaklyn had been Ill recently.

You was in the living, watching your son eat his mac n cheese that you had made him - it was his favourite food and one of the only things he'd eat lately whilst ill.

You had some music playing in the background and hummed softly to him.

"Dance?" Oaklyn asked as he looked at you innocently.

"You want to dance?"

Oaklyn nodded and you chuckled.

"After you've ate okay?"

"Okay"

And as promised, after he finished his food and you washed up, you picked him up and and spun him around, dancing and bouncing him in your arms to the music.

You was so in the moment that you hadn't seen the car pull up in the driveway.

It was Hailee, coming home a little early.

She got out of the car and saw you through the window with your son. Giggling and happy with wide smiles on both your faces.

"That's my girl" she said softly to herself.

She couldn't bring herself to ruin the moment and so she stayed by her car, watching you through the window.

"Hailee!" Your son pointed out the widow, noticing her.

You look in the direction and chuckled as Hailee finally made her way to the door, opening it and walking inside.

You put your son down and he ran up to her before she picked him up, walking up to you.

You both shared a quick kiss before app three of you danced together to the rest of the song.
