Chapter 3~ Farewell

A boyfriend does not punish, Raven! Are you out of your mind? I'm really, worried I felt like if I could teach anything it would be: an abusive guy does not deserve anything, and I mean, nothing!
"He only gets mad at me when I do stuff like spill his coffee or do something stupid, it's normal don't worry" she muttered
I was speechless at that point. I was not going to let her go down that path; not in my sight!
Raven, you can't do that to yourself, that's not normal! I know you are in love with him, but love is blinding. You should never be with a man that treats you that way!
She started panicking and mumbled, " he was right, you are a bad influence on me and are trying to tear our unbreakable bond." At this point, she almost whispered that. She slowly started to back out until she was out of sight.
I felt sorry for her and what hurt me most is that there is nothing I can do about it. She had simply left, to be with that creep instead of me. That's just pure bullshit that he is putting in her head.
I don't want to let her down; I can't that man she is dating is probably just using her.
He looked so weird, his hair was messy, and had a dirty and stained shirt on. His teeth were slightly rotting and he had a huge beard.
After a few minutes I headed my way back home and expected to take another beating for doing nothing, but when I opened the door no one was waiting to hit me for being out too long, no one was ready to scream at me. It was just calm I didn't understand why he wasn't there.
I walked through the shattered pieces of glass laying on the floor. They were scattered across the room. All sorts of broken pieces of plates were tossed around just like the day before. I was just wondering where he was when I heard my phone ring. It was my dad! I picked up the phone and I heard my dad's voice from the other end of the phone. He screamed, " did you pack your bags? He hissed
" I'm waiting at the airport get your stuff and meet me at the main entrance!" He said in a hushed tone. I am leaving today. What the hell? So many thoughts ran through my head. One after the other came in busting the entrance to my brain. I freaked out!! I didn't even get to say goodbye to all of my friends, then I remembered I didn't have any other than Raven and Kelly. I only talked to Raven so far and it wasn't even a proper goodbye. I decided to go to Kelly's house and say goodbye. She was always a good friend to me, and I didn't care if dad screamed at me at the airport for being late. It's worth it to be able to say goodbye to her. I couldn't just leave without saying bye.. what kind of friend would I be, she would probably worry sick.
I felt my eyes start to water but I didn't let my tears fall. I held everything inside of me and I always felt like a ticking bomb waiting to explode. The weird thing is; that I never did I was just expecting things to happen. Like always.
I picked up my backpack and put my few belongings in it since I didn't have much. Got my checkered skateboard and trailed off to Kelly's place. I knocked on the huge doors of her mansion and after a minute of waiting one of her servants opened the door and greeted me with a pleasant smile " good afternoon Ms.Mariana" he said in a confident and elegant tone. " you may enter, your friend is in the 4th floor waiting to see you. She is in room ten. The elevator is over there" he walked me over to a beautiful glass elevator made of Saphire and other precious gems. When I walked to her room she was choosing which pair of shoes to wear out of the million shoes she had. " hey Mariana what are you doing here?" She asked in a soft curious tone. Well umm, I have something to say. I, I am sorry but I will have to leave the state today to go to a boarding school and I am probably never coming back. So I brought you a crystal bracelet made of brown agate, I got one for me and one for you so that we never forget each other. Make sure you wear it every day, please. The bracelet is really simple, it has plenty of round beads on it with an adjustable string so that I can adjust it.
I handed her the bracelet in a cute little box. She had a heartbroken look on her face as if she had lost the world. " why does everyone I love always disappear" she whispered almost as if she meant for only herself to hear that. I know how it is I went through that before I know what a horrible feeling that is, it's what I'm going through right now. She gave me an eye-piercing look that shook me to the core. It was a cold dull stare. Then she mumbled " good luck, I will miss you were always good to me, thanks for making so many memories with me. You made my life worth living" I felt sudden guilt run through me. I felt so bad for leaving her but I didn't have a choice. I wished I could just punch my dad at this point but I was too much of a coward to do so. " thanks for visiting and I loved the bracelet I will wear it every day from now on" she said while giving me a slight smirk.
No problem Kelly, I said nodding my head and then hugging her I must be on my way now. I said my goodbyes and grabbed my bag & board. The next thing I knew, I was already on my way to the airport.
I met with my dad at the entrance and he didn't seem to be in his usual drunk state because the Airport was stinking with police and guards everywhere. " do you have everything packed? Did you get all your useless junk?" He aggressively sneered. Yes, I nodded. He gave me a ticket and some extra cash. I was wandering around the airport asking if someone could help me but everyone was too busy doing their stuff. People in the town I live are so rude and I felt like no one is like me so I just had to try and find more friends than someone to help me. I asked a guard at the airport, and he gave me a stern look, then told me to go to terminal 58b so as I glided through the people with my bags and my single ticket looking straight at the ground. I suddenly felt my body collide against a tall nicely sculpted guy around my age. He seemed like he was about 19 and was dressed in a simple workout T-shirt and a pair of jeans. I slowly looked up to his face only to meet with a pair of big emerald green eyes staring right into mine; there were black strands of hair falling in front of his eyes probably blocking his vision. He had very defined arms and a sharp jawline. The first five words I heard him say was " watch where your going kid" he grumbled in a very deep voice. He looked so mysterious...

That's the type of guy he was he is not this guy. It's only his aesthetic lol.
