It was worrying if she was honest. Toji hadn't been working for a while now, but it would soon come to the time he would have to begin work again.

But she didn't know if he would return to his old ways. She didn't know if he would be able to keep on the path he was. In fact, she highly doubted it, but she wanted to believe he would stay responsible.

It wasn't Toji preferred Yeri over Megumi. The difference in treatment that happened sometimes was because Yeri was simply old enough to remind him how to act, and what to attend to, and Megumi was simply not.

"Alright, pass the phone to me now." Toji said in the back, "I'm sure Yeri knows everything about your day by now."

"But- alright. Bye, Yeri!"

She said bye back, then Toji took over the phone. They didn't talk about much more  Toji asked if she had bought much food and gave her some more tips.

"Do you think they'll be able to help with my technique?"

"I'm sure they'll know something. Don't worry about it."

"Yeah, you're right. I just hope they can tell me more."

"Yeah, they always know at least something, so I wouldn't worry. Don't worry, Yeri."

She hummed down the phone as a reply, then looked around to see Gojo. Walking toward her. Again.

"Oh, I have to go." She said, a bit annoyed.

"Alright, kid. Stay safe. Megumi say bye."

"Bye Yeri!! Please visit soon! Love you!"

She smiled, "Love you too."

---CALL ENDED---

Gojo sat next to her that second, sighing and spreading out on the bench.

"You say it's not a boyfriend but you're always saying love you at the end. It's okay, just tell me so I can be rejected and move on." He spoke dramatically.

"You're crazy. They're family. But I reject you anyway so you can move on."

Gojo frowned, "No! You'll never get rid of me now."

"Creep." She edged away, sideying him very obviously.

"So mean. You're only like this to me."

"Aww, sorry. Did I hurt your feelings?" She smiled, "But I'm just joking. If you don't want me to, I'll stop."

"You're so polite yet not. And I guess I'll have to accept it...this is just the way you are, unfortunately."

"That's right. Anyway, how come you're always out here?"

He took his sunglasses off, "I can't sleep."

"Ohh" She nodded, "You don't sleep well alot?"

"Yeah."

They sat in silence for a while. For her, she felt it was comfortable yet awkward. She didn't know if Gojo was uncomfortable and didn't know what to say. But Gojo didn't mind either, he was fine with the comfortable silence.

"What's your technique, by the way?" He said randomly, "I just thought I've never heard you mention."

"Well, I don't know, that's why...I wasn't brought up with my family. I inherited it from, and I'm not sure what it's called."

"Oh," the boy beside her spoke in return, "What do you say when you use it?"

"I don't really have much control over it. I feel this energy build up and I try to stop it but then it just explodes? If that makes sense? Last time, I literally just screamed." She laughed, but the memory was grim, and embarresing.

"Mhm." He nodded, "Not stronger then me though?"

"Maybe one day."

He scoffed, "Never..." He thought for a second, "How about we fight?"

"That's not very fair, is it. I just got here."

"Come onn~" He jumped up, taking her hands and pulling her up from the bench, "Dont be scared."

"Who said i was scared?"

"Prove it."

She rolled her eyes and they took their positions on the opposite ends of the field.

"GO!"

Almost immediately, Gojo was thrown off, she almost completely dissappear from his six eyes. Her cursed energy was almost nothing?

"Who taught you how to..." He paused, his moves were sloppy since he was struggling to figure out where she was. "Do that?"

"My uncle!" She said, almost landing a hit on Gojo.

Gojo was quiet, and as he realised he was actually struggling the tiniest bit, he started to focus and completely overpower her.

He focused too much. That he got in this sort of weird trance.

"Gojo, stop!" She said, trying to block him, but he just laughed teasing her.

He continued.

"Gojo, stop!"

Suddenly, as Gojo was about to land a hit, it seemed like time slowed.

It was pitch black, but Light began to come from the tip of her hands, forming into a long beam of light, that was deflected into the air, a pop in her shoulder as she deflected it into the air, the force of the light nearly knocking her off her feet.

"Gojo-"

"Yeri? What-"

A awful burning smell could be smelt, and as Yeri collapsed, he noticed it was from her. She had passed out, and her hands were very burnt.

Why the fuck did he just do that? Gojo was not one to EVER loose his composure or control over himself, so why had he just been so compelled to do so just now?

He picked her up, careful not to disturb her wounds.
