Chapter one PT 2 -matt

Matt's pov:

I have been to the Forrest before, just not at night. I invited my friends along with me to explore it, 'cus I mean what could go wrong! Three friends hanging out in a Forrest at night where alot of murders have been committed, not that I new at the time.

Vex and I met up at the local park and dragged Theo along so that we could attempt to summon demons and sacrifice ourselves. Ps, the last part was one hundred percent a joke, haha...

Once we had all met up we began to start out journey to wander for half an hour till we got to the moon lit Forrest. Once we had gotten to the entrance I excitedly ran into the Forrest. "let's go!"

"Be careful 'cus if you get in trouble I won't come save your asses!" Theo blandly stated, I carried on jogging "i wont, i'm strong!!!" and vex almost full on sprinted to catch up to me. "okay!" she said quickly to theo.

as theo started to catch up to us vex was on her phone showing us, and when i say us i mean mostly me, random vidioes she has saved to her camera roll since she does not have data.

"what the fuck is that!!!" i almost yelled while pointing at the cursed thing on vex's phone and ran off to a near by tree to collect a broken off branch i just so happened to see to go threaten vex with it. 

"calm down you two" theo tried to reason with us, again mostly me since in a problematic child. "noOowahh vexy's being a demon" i stated dramatically whilst placing the stick i was holding over my sholder making sure i didnt hit anyone.

"says you!?!?" vex exclaimed in a questioning tone of voice. "yes i gotta agree with vex,matt you are the reincarnation if satan himself" this time he says it normally instead of the boring monotone voice he had been using previously.

being told his almost every other day i shrugged it off and pulled a funny face "hehe i know" we carried on walking for a while and i could tell that theo was getting annoyed for some reason.

"matt, is that damned stick really necessary?"he asked and i just nodded "of course it is, what if we get jumped. lots of dead people have been found hereeeeee" i widely grinned at him.

as we kept on walking i saw another stick and collected it and i could tell it slightly ticked off theo because after he said "why? like he had given up on life.

"so if anyone jumps us i can kill 'em!!" theo never said a word after that, we carried on walking for 30 minutes until i felt something was wrong. 

i turned around and found out that theo was missing. i gasped. i suggested to vex that we split up to look for him, like anything good ever comes out of that, but we did.

i sowly walked away the only sound passing my ears was that of the faint fading of the music blasting from vex's pink cat headphones and the cool breeze rustling the dried leaves on both the tall trees and the dead ones scatterd over the floor.

looking up at the moon i felt calm yet sad and lonely, i hope theo is okay and ugh i shouldn't have left vex. im only good at coming up with bad ideas heh.. 

i came across a shallow river and decided to follow it at the soft wind pushed it along as rocks and sticks created patterns in the now deepening moon lit water as i walked further and further beside the wonderfull sight.
