17 - "...Were over, Shawn Hunter.."

-after school-

I went inside with Jonathon and ran to mine and Shawn's "Shawnieee!!!" I smiled and jumped on the bed, Shawn smiled "hey, baby" Shawn smiled "How was your day at home?" I asked "Pretty good. I missed you tho" Shawn said grabbing my hand "I did too" I smiled, kissing his cheek. Jonathon walked into the room "Hey guys" John said "Hey, Turner" Shawn said "So Shawn. I asked this to Tori and she said yes multiple times. Uh I was wondering if you'd consider letting me be yours and Tori's legal guardian" Turner said, I smiled. Shawn's face went blank for a minute then turned to a smile "Your serious..?" Shawn asked "Yep" John said "I'd love that" Shawn smiled, he put his head on my lap "We can still be together..? Right..?" Shawn asked "Yes of course. If I was adopting you guys, i'd be a different story" John smiled, Shawn and I did too.
Shawn and I fell asleep after a while, im guessing John graded papers or something. 

-the next morning-

I woke up on Shawn and mine's bed and he wasnt there. I was confused but sat up, I looked around. No note. Usually he leaves a note or tells Turner, I got dressed quickly and then went to living room, Turner was grading papers. "Uh hey John.. Do you know where Shawn is..?" I asked "He said Chubbies" he answered "Ok thanks. ill be at chubbies" I said grabbing my coat then going. Once I got there, I went downstairs and I looked all over for Shawn until...

I saw him locking lips with Dana Pruitt. I stare for a second until I walk over to them, tears in my eyes. Dana noticed me and pulled back "Victoria!" she said shocked, Shawn looked at me "Tori.." he said "Dont Tori me... I already had a terrible feburary.. I guess march has to be the same.." I ran out of Chubbies, tears now going down my face. I knew Shawn was following me but I couldnt look back, I just couldnt. I got back to the apartment and ran into our room. I locked the door and layed on the bed. Tears kept coming out, they werent stopping. I heard Shawn come in, "What's on with her, Hunter?" Turner asked Shawn "I messed up.." I heard Shawn said.

Oh hell you did, Hunter. I kept crying, I looked at the side table and looked at the picture of Shawn and me, I cried more by looking at it. "Tori, can you let me in...?" Shawn said at the door "Go away, Hunter!" I yelled, I went over to Shawn's school bag and took a flask out of it, lucky for me, it had some alcohal left. I drank the rest of it which was a lot. It didnt seem to take its effect right away but after an hour, I felt more pumped up and a little bit confident, I wasnt drunk but I wasnt sober. I was in between. I left the room, Shawn was on the floor "You ready to talk to me?" Shawn said, I ignored him and just went to the kitchen. He got up and went to me, "Come on, Tori" Shawn said with tears now in his eyes, I kept ignoring him "Tori, can you just listen god damn it!?" Shawn yelled, I jumped a bit. I started crying again and I slammed the knife I had in my hand down on the counter "No! You do not get to yell at me for this! Im not the one kissing another damn person!" I yelled at him, John's face went kinda blank "Tori.." Shawn said.

"No Shawn. You dont get to Tori, me or call me anything. You shouldnt even have the right to talk to me. I didnt cheat on you. You cheated on me. And what ive learnt with my parents, is cheating isnt fun. My mom ended up in a mental hospital because of it! My dad's dead... So you dont get to call anything. As much as it hurts me to say this... Were over, Shawn Hunter.." I said, going to the room, grabbing my school back full of stuff, I go to the door and look at Turner "Ill be at my house for the next few days..." I said leaving the apartment.

-Shawn's POV-

"...Were over, Shawn Hunter.." she said right before she left, I wanted to break down but John was right there infront of me I couldnt "Were over, Shawn Hunter.. I never thought I'd hear those words.." I looked at John with tears in my eyes "Shawn. She said you cheated." John said looking at me "I didnt... Ok maybe I kinda did.." I sighed "Shawn, come sit and tell me what happened." John said "Well I went to Chubbies to meet Cory then he never showed, so I guess he just forgot or didnt wake up. I got some food, cause I was hungry. Next thing I know Dana Pruitt was kissing me.." I said sitting down "She was kissing you..?" John said "Yea.. But after a minute or two of trying to figure of what just happened, I kinda joined her.." I looked down "Shawn.. You cant be kissing other girls when your dating someone. Now look at you. Your girlfriendless and probably chickless" John said "She left me.. She used the words were over.." I said, I started to cry, John noticed and pulled me in for a hug, thats where I broke down.
