Y/n looked around, her hand in Wukong's as the ship is surrounded by water. Luckily, she and the others outside were able to make it to the enclosed area before they had landed in the ocean's tough waves.
Tang popped out of the water that was about waist deep. "We're alive.." He realized before lighting up in joy. "We're alive!!" He cheered, swinging up his arms as his voice echoed around the cabin.
However, he gasped in fear as the windows began to crackle and fracture, letting more strong streams on saltwater in. "Maybe hold that thought?" Asked Mei before yelping in surprise at a fish being launched directly towards her head.
"Oho," Pigsy chuckled nervously and sarcastically, "We finally get away from Macaque, and now we all get to drown!"
Sandy smacked himself in realization as the Dronecopter's status screen lit up with 'CRITICAL FAILURE'. "The drone!" He said as he had the epiphany, "It's not water-adventure friendly!" Moe looked at him with worry over his shoulder, tail flicking anxiously.
MK stood up, shaking the water out of his hair. He looked towards Sun Wukong. "Monkey King! You've gotta do something!" He Begs.
Wukong was chilling, his tail swishing in the water. He wrapped an arm around Y/n's shoulders, leaning against her lazily before realizing MK was talking to him.
"What?" Chuckles the immortal, "A little water never hurt anybody- Ooh, right. Mortality." He realizes with a cringe. Y/n stood tense and nervous, her eyes in the form of anxious dots.
As a red alarm begins to flash, Mei begins to inch towards Y/n nervously. "What's that?" She asks anxiously. Y/n snapped out of her surprised and confused state, grabbing Mei's softer hand in her calloused one to reassure her that it would be okay. (She hoped.)
"Something big!" MK shouted as the alarm flashed. "Relax!" Laughed Monkey King. "I'm pretty sure this is just an old friend of mine come to help out!" He reassured, watching the silhouette come ever closer to them. MK scooted to Mei, making a chain starting with Wukong, then Y/n, followed by Mei and MK.
The kids gasped loudly at the sight of threatening purple eyes. Y/n narrowed her own pair of e/c hues at the aquatic creature, standing protectively in front of her younger siblings.
Everyone shouts as the mouth swallows them, but somehow leads them into an airbubble in the bottom of the sea. "The Dragon Palace of the East Sea!!" Mei geeks out instead of Tang-- which is sort of surprising?? "We're in the Dragon Palace of the East Sea!!" Mei repeats out of giddiness.
"Yeah!" Confirmed Wukong. "This is my kinda-sorta old buddy's house! This is where I got my staff." He spoke.
"Got your staff? Or..?" Pigsy trailed off knowingly. "Right. You took it?" Asked MK before sighing. "Oooh, boy." He sighed, rubbing the back of his head. "Oh, look! Here he comes!" Wukong realizes as the two doors open.
