What is Christmas?

It is the zeal in every soul,

It is the occasion that makes the year whole.

It is the smile, on every child's face,

It is the warmth that people embrace.

It is that time of year,

Which people celebrate with good cheer.

It is the decorating and lighting up of the house,

Where there is only a union and no grouse.

It is the wait for the birth of the holy Lord,

Whom god sent to us, his only ward.

It is the happiness that resides in one's heart,

It is when everyone looks forward to the new start.

It is the time of hope,

Dwindled becomes every man's mope.

It is the time of peace,

When all the feuds cease.

It is a time of joy,

Like how a kid when gets his favorite toy.

It is the time of love,

Where all grudges are shoved.

Christmas comes once a year,

So celebrate it with good cheer.

Have a lovely day and two,

Merry Christmas to you!
