𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝙻𝚘𝚗𝚎𝚕𝚢 𝙶𝚑𝚘𝚜𝚝It would be late on the following morning that Nyx was called into the office of Principle Weems. She had passed her sister in the hallway upon approach to the office aware that she was to be questioned in further detail about what had occurred the night beforehand. Wednesday had recovered from fainting and shared a lot of information incredibly fast. Information which it appeared could not be confirmed and Nyx was now coming under fire as to what she had witnessed herself upon that night. And she was unsure just how much she was willing to share. She did not want to be put under the category of a lier, nor a snitch. She valued her own social standing, which had slowly been built, to not want to ruin it before she had fully cemented herself.
And that was the reason that she decided she would not throw her sister under the bus, but she would also not make a fool out of herself. And she would only respond dependent on the questions she would be asked. That would be the angle she would follow, after all it was not like a normie police officer would believe much of what she said anyways. Outcasts were always favoured in a negative manner. And therefore, she knocked on the headmistresses door unsure as to what she was going to face on the other side.
"Come in." Principle Weems voice came through the door and Nyx gently pushed it open. Upon entrance she laid her eyes upon two figures, the one she had been expecting was the principle her hair still in the elegant updo she was unsure the principle would ever be seen without. The other figure she knew most likely was going to be there but she had not been one hundred percent about. But sat in one of the two chairs opposite the principle's desk was the local town Sheriff. Sheriff Galphin, did not chose to stand upon her entrance only remained slumped in his chair. An obvious sign that he finished a difficult conversation with her sister.
"Take a seat Miss Addams." Weems indicated to the one free chair and Nyx shrugged before roughly seating herself. She waited until someone had something else to say to her she chose not to say anything for now.
"This is Sheriff Galphin as you two have yet to properly meet. He was tasked in searching for what your sister reported last night and has some further questions this morning." Principle Weems introduced and Nyx only nodded in response.
"You entered the woods last night, why?" The Sheriff started his questioning it would seem and Nyx wanted to roll her eyes, she should have had her lawyer present. That would have been easier.
"Went to scope out the surroundings see if it was a good place to make out." Nyx sarcastically responded. And she could hear the principle sigh at her words. Weems did not believe her for one second but the same might not have been said for the principle.
"And it has nothing to do with your sister running into there earlier?"
"Of course I followed my sister into the creepy looking woods." Nyx tried to not snap at the man aware that he was a figure of authority. But she decided quickly she was not a fan of him.
