Hello dear readers.

I know you all are frustrated with the delay in the story. I started it In 2020 and now it's 2023.

I am aware of how many times I have unpublished and published it again and again. You have the right to feel angry and frustrated with me and the story.

And after receiving almost 200+ messages on different platforms and my friends and co-writers about my lack of updates, why I am doing it? I knew you all deserve an explanation.

There is not one but many reasons.

1. In the past years, I wanted to focus on my career outside of writing.  And the writing was taking me away from that. Because I was always thinking about stories rather than important things in life.  But I came out of that phase and started writing the book again.

2. I was handling too many projects at the same time which I started in excitement and it became difficult for me to handle them all together. So I focused on Tainted first.

And now the main reason why I am not updating: 🌹🌹

You all know I  collaborated with my friend Mani8893 for the Dev story but things didnt work the way we wanted. I couldn't write so many things at the same time. Also, the other monetary projects couldn't be put on hold so I decided to write Dev's book solely on my own and I decided to rather than writing Dev's book I will follow his story  Viraj's book.

I talked with Mani8893 and she agreed with my decision.

I started following my decision and that was the wrong thing to do.  Because I messed up the whole Viraj story by doing it and it lost the direction I planned for it.  This was a mess up situation with you all are asking about updates and I was feeling burdened under your wishes.

It was also the most difficult decision on my part when I knew you all love the ongoing track but I was losing my touch ams imagination. And I want do justice with what I write.. With the characters I so lovingly created which was getting impossible for me. So here it  is what I have decided.

I am not writing Dev and Neha's story neither did Mani8893

I am changing Dev's story as a whole and adding his story from the start of this book, the story I initially planned for him.

Before collaborating with Mani8893 the storyline and things messed up so much that I decided to take this step and end this thing here.

Relax the theme of the story will be same except for  other things which you will understand after reading it. There will be no more Dev and Neha. Dev's whole character is going to change along with his girl. Yes. Dev will have someone else.

I know Many of you will be disheartened by the decision but the new version of Dev's story will be far more interesting than this one.

Please dont ask my babe Mani8893 about it again and again. I am clarifying things here. Today.

I will be setting things in this story soon. I am myself reading the story again to set the timeline correctly.

I am not unpublishing it so that you all  can enjoy it for now but once I have the new chapters ready I would be adding them.
