The sky was dark and hailing with rain and thunder. The wind grew wild, blowing every which way. Kenta Yumiya and his friend Madoka Amano was watching their friend, Gingka Hagane, in a frightening battle that will determine their lives forever. Literally. If Gingka loses this battle, his world will be gone, and he will turn to stone. As for his opponent, he gets to live. If Gingka's opponent loses, then he must return to where he belongs, and not bother Gingka anymore.
B-But its Gingka. H-He should be able to win this no problem! Kenta thought in his mind.
He was wrong.
Gingka looked like he was having a hard time winning his battle. His opponent's bey looked nothing like Gingka's, or anyone's for that matter. It looked totally different, and it's attack, stamina, and speed was off the charts.
"Hang in there, Pegasus!" Gingka yelled.
"You think you can hang on, little Gingka? You're in for a big surprise." His opponent said.
The beys clashed together, and fought like there was no tomorrow. Pegasus got flung back, and spun in a swirl. Pegasus charged again, but the opponent's bey disappeared. Everyone gasped of shock.
"Where'd it go!?" Madoka questioned.
The bey appeared behind Pegasus, and Kenta was the only one who noticed.
"Gingka, behind you!" Kenta warned.
It was too late. The opponent's bey charged in and flung Pegasus in the air.
"Pegasus!" Gingka yelled.

"It's over for you, Gingka."
"Not for long!"
"Huh?"
"Pegasus, Star Dive attack!"
Pegasus was charging down like a meteor, right at the opponent's bey. The opponent laughed, like it was a joke that was the funniest one he ever heard. Everyone looked at him with an angry expression.
"Yeah! Gingka won already, so just give up!" Kenta told him.
"Watch, and learn."
The opponent's bey teleported, and Pegasus was attacking the ground, causing it to crack.
"No, Pegasus! Get up!"
It was like Pegasus couldn't hear him.
"What's happening!?"
"Your bey cannot hear you. It is under my command now. The moment I first hit your bey, I drained its energy, giving it to my bey and myself. Sorry, Gingka, but I think I won."
"He still has a chance!" Madoka exclaimed.
"Not for long, he won't. Shadow, use Shadow Counterbreak!"
