(Quick A/n: please don't take any of the characters that I have chosen for this fanfic to heart. I was just making this for fun. Any way bye!)
3rd pov
It was a beautiful morning in the small village. The sky was a bright shade of orange and pink, and the birds were chirping a melody.
The door opens of the home of Toshinori Yagi. Or better known as the "crazy inventor". Anyway, his only daughter, (Y/n) steps out the door, and went down the stairs towards her small town. She was holding a basket that has the book that she just read in it.
She breathed in the fresh air and sighed a little. She heard the birds chirping and the bells ringing a sweet melody."Little town, it's a quiet village.." she sung to herself, "Everyday, like the one before." She sighed a little, knowing that nothing will change in her hometown, but she longed for more. "Little town, full of little people, waking up to say-"
As if it was a cue, the small town came to life. The shops were opening, people were going to work, children were playing on the street, and people were starting to buy things from shops. They were greeting each other as old friends and family.
The baker, Rikidou Satou, walked towards the bakery with fresh rolls to sell.
"There goes the baker with his tray like always," (Y/n) smiled, "the same old bread and rolls to sell." She shook her head a little.
"Every morning just the same, since the morning that we came to this poor provincial town," she sung.
"Good morning (Y/n)!" Satou said with a smile. "Morning, Satou," (Y/n) replied with a small smile.
"Where're your off to?"
"The bookshop!" (Y/n) said happily, "I just finished the most wonderful book, about a beanstalk and an ogre.." The words fazed Satou because he was checking for all the recent orders.
"That's nice," he started, "Kouda, the begets, hurry up!" Satou yelled to his assistant who was in the back. (Y/n) could only shake her head with a small laugh while she walked away.
(Y/n) passed two ladies who were talking about her in an almost whisper so (Y/n) couldn't hear them. Honestly the whole town was, but (Y/n) didn't care. She just kept to herself company with her thoughts.
She hopped on a wagon to get to the bookshop quicker. She watched the busy town. The shop sellers, friends greeting each other, customers, and people just walking around.
"There must be more than this provincial life," (Y/n) muttered as she jumped off the wagon. She entered the bookshop that she loved ever so dearly.
"Ah, (Y/n)!" the bookshop owner, Sorahiko Torino, greeted.
"Good morning! I've come to return the book I borrowed!" The girl said with excitement.
"Finished already?" Torino asked to impressed.
"I couldn't put it down! Got anything new?" (Y/n) asked while looking at all the books to see what is available.
"Not since yesterday," Torino chuckled.
The girl sighed a bit, but quickly changed her mode. "That's alright! I'll borrow...This one!" she exclaimed in the sight of her favorite book.
"This one? But you've read it twice!" Torino said amused by the girl's love to read.
"But it is my favorite! Far off place, magic, sword fights, a prince in disguise!" (Y/n) explained.
"Well if you like it that much it is yours," Torino smiled.
"But sir-"
"I insist"
