-3rd pov-

(Y/n) ran as fast as she could to her house. She opened the door to the cellar to see if her father was ok. As soon as she did, a cloud of smoke puffed in her face. She heard crashing and coughing noises coming from her father. She went inside to see her father against a wall. "Papa?" she asked worriedly.

"How on earth did that happen," Toshinori question while picking himself up.

"Are you alright, papa?"

"I-I'm about to give up on this hunk of junk," Toshinori said while kicking the invention.

(Y/n) only smiled at the statement, "You always say that."

"I mean it this time! I'll never get this bone headed machine to work!"

"Yes you will! And you will get first place at the fair tomorrow," (Y/n) exclaimed while smiling. She earned a small grunt in response. "And become a world famous inventor," she continued.

"You really believe that?" Toshinori asked.

"I always have!"

Toshinori's face light up and headed towards the machine. "Well what are we waiting for! I'll have this machine fixed up in no time," Toshinori said ambitiously. "Hand me that-that screwdriver." Toshinori started to work on the invention, and (Y/n) handed him the screwdriver like he asked.

"I got a new book," (Y/n) smiled but it quickly faded away," Papa, do you think I'm odd?"

Toshinori look at the girl," My daughter, odd? Where would you get an idea like that?"

"I don't know, it just feels like I don't fit in here," (Y/n) sighed," There really isn't anyone I can talk to."

"What about that Bakugo guy? He's a handsome fella."

"He's handsome alright.. and arrogant and rude and.. Oh papa he isn't the one for me," (Y/n) said.

Toshinori chuckled, "Well with this invention , we will start a new life!" He got up from working on the machine. "Well I think that it is about done it. Let's give it a try," Toshinori pulled the lever of the machine. It started working perfectly, and it chopped the wood like it was supposed to do.

"It works!" the (H/c)ed girl exclaimed.

"It does?" Toshinori said overjoyed. "It does!" Toshinori said but happier that before.

"You did it! You really did it!" (Y/n) said while hugging her father.

"Hitch up Philip, (Y/n). I'm going to the fair," Toshinori exclaimed.

-Time skip-

"Goodbye papa. Good luck," the girl waved off. "Goodbye (Y/n), and take care while I'm gone," Toshinori waved back to the girl and headed to the path that leads to the fair.

(Y/n) waited to go back inside until her father was out of view, and she hoped for the best of his travels. She went back inside to finish reading her book in the quietness of her home.

-Another time skip, lol-

Outside of (Y/n)'s little home, a curtain blonde boy is waiting to proposed to the girl.

"(Y/n) is going to get the surprise of her life, huh, Kacchan," Izuku said supportively.

"Damn right, this is her lucky day," Bakugo said less angry than usual. He walked towards the small wedding set up that he had asked (*cough* demanded *cough*) the villagers to help set up. He cleared his throat, "I just wanted to thank you all for coming to my wedding. But first I have to propose to the girl," he said cockily with a wink. This earning laughs amongst the crowd. Though in the corner were three heartbroken people who were sobbing. The loudest of the three being the boy with spiky red hair who was being comforted by pink haired girl. While the dirty blonde was silently crying while leaning on Kirishima.
