Chapter 5

Dipper's POV:

"Bye Dipper!" Stan calls from on the porch.

"Bye!" I get in my car Stan got me, but it's a piece of junk.

I drive away not wanting to talk. I know Pacifica is probably on a date with someone right now, and that someone isn't me.

Pacifica's POV:

I get into Jack's car. Step 1: meet Jackson, complete. Step 2: go on a date with Jackson, in process. Step 3: Kiss Jackson, not complete. Step 4: Give Jackson the contract, not complete. Step 5: break up with Jackson, not complete.

"So where do you wanna go?"

"I don't know a movie?"

"Sure."

Jack drives to the nearest movie theater. We get out of the car together.

We decide to watch Pitch Perfect 2 together. I really wanted to see The Age of Adelaide but this is fine too.

I get a coke and a medium popcorn, and he gets a sprite and nerds.

We go into theater number 7. We sit in the farther rows. I turn off my phone and lay back.

As we watch the movie Jack does the yawn trick on me. The one we're the boy yawns and stretches and puts his arm around the girl. That one.

As we watch the bear trap scene Jack looks me in the eyes and I look in his beautiful hazel eyes and we kiss. A small kiss, but a first one.

It's still counts right?

Step 3: Kiss Jackson, Complete.

Step 2: go on a date with Jackson, in progress... still.

We kiss over and over again. It feels good, but not completely right.

The movie finishes and we go out of the theater. I get kind of cold and shiver a couple time.

Jack puts his blue and white varsity jacket over my shoulders. I smile at him.

"Follow me." We start running towards the car and then on top of it.

He wraps his arm around me and leans in for another kiss. I kiss him and kisses back.

I get into my bed and fall asleep.

(5 days later)
I FaceTime Dipper, I really want to talk to him.

"Hey Dipping sauce!"

"Hey Pacific Ocean!"

"How's college?"

"Great! What about you?"

"It's the best!"

"I miss you a lot."

"You too."

"I'm really busy with homework and studying for a test, so I gotta go."

"Okay, I'll talk to you later bye."

"Bye."

Dipper hangs up and I work on my homework.

"You okay?" Emily asks.

"Yea, I just miss my boyfriend from back home."

"Ooooo! But isn't Jackson your boyfriend."

"I guess, I'm not a cheater I told him I needed a break while at college so we broke up... for now."

"Okay."

We continue working on our homework.
