<:Chapter 15:>

D I P P E R

I hook Pepper up to her leash and I open the front door and realize that it's pouring outside.

I go into the front hall and put my rain boots and coat on. Then I grab my umbrella.

All day I have been sitting inside questioning why Pacifica left me.

"I need time to think. I'm going to Mabel's and taking the kids with me." Those words keep traveling through my head.

I walk outside realizing this weather fits my exact emotions.

I put Pepper in the backseat of my car and we go. I don't know where though. I just need to get the thought of Pacifica out of my head.

Pepper climbs up to the passenger seat and looks at me. I smile lightly and reach my hand over to her and rub behind her ear. She pats her leg up and down making the car seat shake.

"This car is a price of crap right pepper?"

I imagine Pepper nodding in response.

I need someone to talk too. I think to myself. But who? ......... What about Mab- wait she's with Pacifica. What about Ford? He is too busy in his work. I doubt he has time for me. What about Chris? Yeah Chris!

I stop the car and pull out my phone. I dial in his number and call him.

(A/N: Chris is a co-worker of Dipper. I need to decide Dipper's job too. I'm thinking a Scientist or a Doctor what do you guys think?)

"Hello?" Chris answers the phone.

"Hey! Chris its Dipper!"

"Hi Dipper. What's up?"

I tell him what happened.

"Where you yeah know Drunk last night?"

"I don't think so... I don't ever remember drinking a singly beer or anything."

"Oh."

"Hey so wanna hang out or something. Get a coffee?"

"I'm at work right now. I can't sorry. Maybe dinner tonight?"

"I'm planning on getting to Mabel's then to tell Pacifica what happened."

"Okay. Then maybe tomorrow. I have my day off then."

"Today's my day off."

"Sunday night?"

"Sure!"

"Okay see you then. Bye."

"Bye." I hang up the phone and sigh. "I guess it's just you and me today Pepper."

I start the car up again and I drive a couple blocks and then decide to go home.

When we get home I take Pepper out of the car and we go inside. I walk up the stairs with pepper behind me and look in a mirror. I look horrible.

I'm a train wreck without her. I tell myself.

I decide to put on clothes and go tell her what happened.

I put on jeans and a red colored shirt and her favorite belt of mine. I comb through my hair and look at my face. I need a shave. But not now. I get in the car and drive to Mabel's house.

I ring the doorbell and Mabel answers it.

"Oh it's the guy who ruined Pacifica's life!"

"I don't know what I did I remember nothing from last night!"

"So you were drunk?!"

"No! I never had a single drink!"

"Pacifica doesn't want to see you anyway." Mabel starts to slam the door in my face but I catch it.

"Wait! At least tell her I'm really really sorry."

"No." She slams the door in my face.

I slam my body against the door and slowly sit down.

Stupid stupid stupid!

What is wrong with me?!

Will I ever forgive myself.
