Nezuko's POV

After dealing with the group of criminals, I used one of their phones to call the police. "Hello, how may I assist you?" the officer asked.

"Hello, I am the Dark Oni," I replied in a deep voice.

The officer sounded shocked. "T-the Dark Oni?" he stammered.

"Yes, and the reason for my call is that there's a group of villains at ***. They're already knocked out, so all you need to do is arrest them. Do you understand?" I explained.

"Yes, I understand. I'll send some men there now," the officer responded, his voice trembling.

"Good, and you don't need to be scared. I won't hurt you. I'll be calling you next time from a different number," I assured him before hanging up.

After 30 minutes, the police arrived, accompanied by heroes, and took the criminals into custody. I watched from a nearby tree, far enough away to remain unseen.

I observed them trying to find clues about my whereabouts, but of course, they found nothing.

After their failed investigation, they left. I also left... well, to be honest, the only reason I didn't leave before they did was that I found it quite amusing to watch them try and fail to find any clues about me.

When I reached the beach to rest, with the bag of money in hand, I pondered what kind of house I would buy. I wanted a big one, but honestly, I just wanted a house so I could sleep with a roof over my head. I didn't think I would be home all the time because of my vigilante work. But then again, I wanted a big house, and I had the money for it, so a big house it was. After that, I went to sleep.

I then had a dream.

In the dream, I saw myself in the Butterfly Mansion. I walked around and saw my brother crying while holding my muzzle. Kanao and Giyuu were there.

"It's my fault. It's my fault that Nezuko died," he sobbed.

"No, it's not, Tanjiro. She did that of her own will. We both know that," Giyuu consoled him, while Kanao just stood there with a concerned look on her face.

"No, Giyuu-san. If I were stronger, she wouldn't have had to sacrifice her life to kill that demon. I was supposed to protect her as her older brother. I... I failed as an older brother, not only to Nezuko but also to my other siblings," he screamed while crying.

"No, Oni-chan, it wasn't your fault. It was my decision. You had nothing to do with it," I thought. When I tried to touch his shoulder, my hand went through him as if I were a ghost.

Then a white light appeared, and I started to wake up.

End of the dream.

When I woke up, I had tears in my eyes. I looked around and saw that it was already daytime. I heard All Might on the other side of the beach, "That's it, young Midoriya, you can do it."

"Looks like they're training," I thought, standing up and heading in their direction. "Hi there," I greeted them, and they returned the greeting.

I observed Izuku and noticed that he had improved a bit since yesterday, but not by much. He just managed to move the metal a little better than yesterday, but other than that, there wasn't much improvement. I then approached All Might and said, "Hey, All Might."

He looked at me and asked, "What is it, young Kamado?"

"Well, I forgot to ask Izuku what his quirk is, and he's training, so I came here to ask," I explained.

"Is that so? Well, young Midoriya has an energy stockpile quirk, but for now, he's not allowed to use it."

"And why is that?"

"Well, his body is too weak to use it. If he uses it, his body will get blown to pieces," he answered.

"That's got to suck."

"You said it right."

"Well, I need to do something. See you later," I said, running off, and All Might waved goodbye.

After a while, I saw a big house for sale. I asked the owner for the price, and it was half of what I had, so I paid, and the owner handed me the keys and the papers for the house.

The previous owner of the house left, and I went inside to look around. There was one master bedroom, seven rooms, three bathrooms, a dining room, a kitchen, a living room, two office rooms, and a large room on the second floor that I had no idea what to do with, as well as a basement and an attic.

There was a bed, but it lacked pillows and blankets. The kitchen only had a sink, and the living room was empty. The bathroom was equipped with just a sink and a toilet.

I figured I would need to go to the mall to buy some items for the house. I believed the money I had would be sufficient for everything I needed, so I wasn't worried. The house was beautiful.

For now, the bed was enough for me to finally sleep comfortably. Tomorrow, I planned to buy some items, maybe even some food. Even though I didn't need to eat, I could bring snacks for All Might and Izuku sometimes.

Afterward, I went to the backyard and saw that it was a large area. I could do a lot of things here. There was also a shack. After taking it all in, I decided that it was perfect.

I then went to the master bedroom and lay down. Thoughts of my dream filled my mind. Was it real, or was it just a random dream? Did Oni-chan feel that way when I died? These thoughts popped into my head, questioning myself. If I were in his position, would I have the same emotions, or would they be different? My mind wouldn't stop bombarding me with questions.

I then closed my eyes and fell asleep.
