Everything hurts. Why does it hurt. My muscles...they're on fire, and I can't open my eyes.
"Snow?" I hear a voice coming from near me. "Simon, are you ok? Hey answer me."
It's Baz, he felt so far away, and I could feel him shaking my shoulders. But I'm sweating, I'm hot, and I can't move.
"B-baz?" I say shivering. "I can't-I can't move. Everything hurts." I can feel the tears pricking my eyes.
"Hold on, it's ok, I've got you baby." Baz picks me up, and pulls me onto his lap. I curled him, grabbing his T-shirt. I can feel him pushing his fingers gently through my hair, whispering into my ear. I can't really hear him really, everything is hazy and my head is pounding, pounding, pounding. Over and over again. Harder and harder. I squeeze his shirt tighter, wincing.
"Simon? Simon!" I can barely hear Baz yelling, telling me to wake up. Even though I'm not asleep yet, I can feel the darkness pulling me farther in. Baz is yelling for Penny to...call an ambulance? Why would they do that? I'm...I'm fine. Then it's like a hole opens up beneath me, and darkness is so cool, easing the fire burning in my head and my body. And then I'm gone, into the peaceful darkness.
