Storm's point of view

I woke up in the room me and Luna had been staying at. As I tried to get up I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. Lifting up the sheet I could see I was all bandaged up and healing. Looking around the room I could tell it was day time, and I then noticed a bunch of pink hair laying next to me. It was Luna she was sitting down on a chair resting her head on the bed. Has she been by my side the entire time I thought. I was about to get out of the bed when I felt someone grab my wrist.

"Storm...." Luna said. For a minute I thought she woke up but then she started crying and her eyes were still closed.

"please don't die." She really does care for me I thought as blush covered my face. Not wanting to leave without waking her I leaned down to her face and kissed her forehead.

"Hey flame brain wake up already." I said as I placed my hand on her cheek. I watched as her eyes fluttered open and filled with happiness when she saw it was me.

"Storm! Your okay!" She screamed as she hugged me. We both started laughing and I then remembered the battle, the bartender, and what Luna said.

"I'm protecting someone I love.."

She loves me I said in my head and was then overcome with shyness and embarrassment.

"Hey Luna how long have I been asleep?"

"About two days now."

"What?!" I shouted surprised by this news.

"your injuries weren't life threatening but you did lose a lot of blood."

"What happened to Walters and the village?"

"Well, Walters was taken by the magic council, and the curse is broken everyone who was turned into stone is normal again."

"what about that old man?" Luna was shocked I asked about it and she hesitated before she answered.

"I'm sorry we weren't able to save him."

" I see" I said as my expression darkened. I got up to walk out of the room wanting to be alone when Luna grabbed my hand surprising me.

"Please don't blame yourself."

"Why do you care?" I snapped at her completely overcome with rage.

"Because I..."

Because you what!?" I screamed turning around to face her eyes red with rage.

"Because I care about you, idiot!" Luna screamed. She then ran passed me and out the door. I face palmed my self in self loathing thinking about how much of a jerk I was. Swallowing my pride I put on some new clothes and ran out the door to find Luna and apologize. I spent hours when I finally found her hiding behind the mansion.

"Luna..." I said making her jump her face became tomato red and she started to run away.

"Luna wait." I said as I grabbed her wrist she then began to fight me.

"Let me go. I don't have anything to say to you" She cried her face growing brighter.

"Luna stop just listen to me." I shouted as she kept trying to escape my grasp.

"Stop!" I screamed losing my patience. I grabbed her face and kissed her. We stood there for a few minutes lips locked together. Her lips were so smooth and pure I wish the kiss could've lasted forever. I finally pulled away from realization and loss of breath.

Luna's point of view

"I'm sorry for what I said earlier. We should get our stuff together so we can head home." I nodded yes in response and with that we got up and headed inside. We packed our stuff in silence and then made our way towards the train station. I sat down on the bench while storm went to see what time our train came.

Our kiss scene kept repeating in my head. His lips were so soft but rough at the same time. Storm scared me when he sat down causing me to jump up into the air.

"So what time?" I asked regaining my composure.

"What?" Storm asked surprised.

"The train."

"Oh, at 4." I nodded my head in understanding and we sat there in awkward silence. Till storm spoke once again breaking the silence that surrounded us.

"what about the reward for the request?"

"I didn't take it." I said shrinking in my seat.

"What?! How could you turn down a reward that big!" I didn't want to answer I just looked away from him hoping he would understand I didn't want to talk about it. He sighed and we went back into silence till the train came.

"All aboard for magnolia."

"You ready to go home." Storm said a smile plastered on his face as he reached his hand out to mine. I stared at it and after a moment of hesitation I reached out and grabbed his hand. He led me on to the train and to our seats. Hours went by when storm finally fell asleep. I slowly turned my head and looked at his face. Storm looked so cute when he was sleeping; I just couldn't help myself from smiling. Before I knew it my hand was moving the hair out of his face; when storm's eyes started to flutter open. I quickly took my hand away, and turned the other way to embarrassed.

"Hmmm...Whats up?"

"Nothing."

"Then why did you wake me?"

"I didn't."

"Then why were you-" He stopped and paused for a minute before he started laughing.

"What are you laughing at!?"

"You!" Storm exclaimed. My face became beat red as he kept on laughing.

"what's so funny Pee sicle?" I  asked embarrassed.

"You are so adorable." He laughed as I turned away from him quickly falling asleep.

"Hey Luna wake up were back."  I quickly got up ready to head home. Storm grabbed our stuff as I ran off the train ready to head home. I waited for storm to get off the train and once he was off I grabbed his hand and started to drag him towards the guild.

"Hey Luna aren't you forgetting something?"

"What do you mean?"

"We took an s-class request without permission which means...."

"We are in so much trouble." I groaned as reality set in.

"C'mon lets get it over with." Storm said as he patted my head. For some reason I didn't want him to stop. I quickly ran to catch up with him as we walked to the guild. Soon enough we reached the guild doors and slowly walked up to them.

"You ready?" Storm asked

"Yeah, I'm fired up!" I exclaimed and we both began laughing as we opened the doors to the guild to see everyone inside.

"Hey everyone we're back!" I exclaimed.

"LUNA! STORM!" Everyone screamed as they all ran over to hug us.
