Wake up

By me saving my little sister from a gun shot by running in front of her

I wonder where I am

All I saw was darkness until there was light. I know people say don't go towards the light but I did cause why not.

I heard crying and wailing

Ugh

I hate baby's they are so annoying always crying,eating,shitting, and sleeping then repeat

I never understood why people adored baby's

Anyway the baby was still crying

But my ears, eyes. Everything was so sensitive. Was I just born? How does rebirth even work? And why me?

But the pain all stopped when I heard a women's voice. I assume was the women who birthed me. She was humming a calming lullaby. So calming that I quickly went to sleep.

As a baby I quickly learned my name which was Kakureru. Which my mother called me Kaku for short.

Mother seemed worried for I never cried. I just reached out with my weak arms to her. That was it.

Soon I was rolling then crawling which at first I didn't get to far due to my weak body. But soon I got the hang of it.

Then came me first birthday. Which mother and I celebrated. She got me some silly toys I probably would never play with. Well it's the thought that counts.

After my birthday I soon trying walking with when mother saw me she actually didn't freak out like I thought she would. She just smiled a sad smile.

Is she remembering something?

After I learned how to walk I figured it was time to learn to read.

So I simply went up to my mother and asked which she complied. At first she didn't want to read such a complexed book but I didn't want to read a child book for I was no child.

Reading took a couple months until I got it down but I did eventually.

At this point I was wondering about my father

Was he dead?

In jail?

Or perhaps he's a deadbeat that ran away?

Or maybe I'm a bastard child

Who knows

So I went up to my mother and asked

She replied "Kakureru, sweetie, your father is not a man I want you to get to know." She seemed nervous

Did my father threaten her?

I dropped the subject

When I was four is when my suspicions started

I heard about nen

My mother told me to be exact

She kept going on and on. But I simply wouldn't believe that I was in a different world. It's not possible!
